"Holy shit!" the blond-haired guys yelled repeatedly, their scalps tingling with fear.
In an instant, the monsters surged toward the elevator like a tidal wave.
Lin Yu feigned a bewildered and panicked expression, using the opportunity to observe his surroundings.
Inside the elevator, the lights flickered on and off. Li Fei and Third Master wore sly smiles, as if everything was under their control.
Outside the elevator, gray-skinned monsters surged in frantically. A rough estimate puts their numbers at close to 30, and they were moving much slower than the previous group.
Without a doubt, the monsters on this floor are not level 3.
Level 2? Lin Yu seemed to be deep in thought.
"Quick! Stop them!" Third Master roared, raising his arrow to fire and halt the monster's charge.
At the same time, the blond-haired guy and his friends attacked the monster together.
"Whoosh!" Third Master's arrows pierced the heads of the two monsters at the front.
The blond-haired man, wielding a waist knife, hacked away, and soon felled a monster. He paused, then burst into laughter.
"These monsters are only level 2? Damn! I thought they were much stronger!"
The man with the earring and the woman in the leather jacket fought bravely, each killing one monster. In just a few breaths, five monsters fell.
The eyes of all of them were filled with relieved smiles.
The woman in the leather jacket patted her heavy chest: "Luckily, the monsters here aren't level 3."
It was time for Lin Yu to correct him: "Everyone, please don't take any chances. You might encounter level 3 monsters on the 3rd floor, level 4 on the 4th floor, and so on."
The once chaotic battlefield suddenly became so quiet you could hear a pin drop.
The group turned to look at Lin Yu. The blond-haired man was about to argue when he realized he had no words to refute him!
The level 3 monster that rushed out of the elevator earlier, wasn't it from the 3rd floor?
"Hiss!" The blond-haired man gasped.
The woman in the leather jacket's expression turned extremely ugly:
"If we follow this logic, wouldn't that mean that on the 6th floor, the monsters are level 6, and on the 7th floor, they're level 7!"
How can we fight like this?
The crowd's resolve crumbled instantly, and they all stopped attacking, turning to look at Third Master:
Is that really the case?
Third Master's mind was filled with "Damn it!" as he glared fiercely at Lin Yu.
Can't you just shut up for a second?
Third Master immediately reassured her, "Don't worry, Master Li and I have our own ways to deal with even more advanced monsters."

The man with the earring brandished his tan staff, causing the ground to crack open and spikes to emerge from the earth and pierce the monster's body.
The monster struggled violently and was unable to break free for a while.
"I can't hold them for long, someone come and take care of these monsters!" the earring-wearing man roared.
"I'll do it! I'll do it!" Lin Yu immediately rushed forward and beheaded the monster with a single sword strike.
Earring guy: "Thanks, bro!"
The woman in the leather jacket was attacked by five monsters because she went too far in.
The woman in the leather jacket unleashed her full power, leaving numerous wounds on the monster's body, but she still couldn't break through.
Unable to cope any longer, she gritted her teeth and asked for help:
"Can someone come and help me?"
Seeing that Third Master and the others had not come to rescue her, the woman in the leather jacket sighed slightly, preparing to fight her way out of the encirclement even if she was injured.
"I'll do it, I'll do it!" A clear and gentle voice rang out from the darkness.
But then Lin Yu, sword in hand, swiftly charged forward, slaying three heavily wounded monsters in quick succession.
"Phew!" The woman in the leather jacket gasped for breath, grateful for her successful escape.
