In the pitch-black corridor, the roars of monsters echoed. As soon as Lin Yu rushed out of the elevator, three gray-skinned monsters pounced on him.
Lin Yu hurriedly raised his sword to defend himself. Facing a monster whose strength and speed were far superior to his own, Lin Yu dared not hold back.
"Pfft! Pfft!"
Sword energy clung to the bluestone sword, leaving wounds on the gray-skinned monster with each strike from Lin Yu, causing blood to splatter everywhere.
However, these monsters were like tireless machines, incredibly resilient. Lin Yu's barrage of attacks failed to seriously injure them; instead, it drove them even more berserk.
Gradually, Lin Yu became no match for the three monsters and began to flee in all directions, being chased and attacked by the monsters.
"I can't hold on any longer! Quick! Fire support!" Lin Yu turned around and shouted into the elevator.
Li Fei and Third Master laughed at the same time. They slowly drew their bows, nocked arrows, and pulled the triggers.
Arrows and bullets accurately struck monsters in other directions, inflicting devastating damage. As for Lin Yu, they deliberately ignored him.
"Damn it!" Lin Yu cursed.
Under the monsters' onslaught, Lin Yu became increasingly disheveled, nearly having his throat bitten several times, and finally managing to escape by the narrowest of attempts.
"Keep an eye on him, don't let this kid actually get killed by the monster," Third Master warned.
"Don't worry, he won't die. This kid's tough." Li Fei said with a faint smile.
What he was too embarrassed to say was that he had almost been taken down by this kid before.
Third Master nodded and stopped paying attention to Lin Yu, instead focusing his attention on the others, who couldn't afford to die now.
"Damn it! Why isn't the fire support here yet? Are you trying to kill me?" Lin Yu cursed under his breath, but secretly he breathed a sigh of relief.
Everything is under control.
Lin Yu began to approach the group of blond-haired men with a purpose, but to the others, it looked like Lin Yu was being chased by monsters and had no choice but to seek help from his teammates.
With one hand holding a knife and the other dangling limply, the blond-haired man was barely managing to fight a monster.
At first, four monsters approached him, but fortunately, the other three were killed by Third Master.
"Looking at it this way, Third Master and his gang seem pretty reliable after all," Huang Mao thought to himself.
Just then, a figure rushed towards him, shouting, "Brother Yellow Hair, I'm here to help you!"
Upon hearing this, Huang Mao was immediately moved. He looked at the figure and saw Lin Yu, along with the three monsters chasing behind him.
"Holy shit!" the blond-haired guy yelled anxiously at Lin Yu.
"Don't come any closer!"
He was caught off guard and kicked in the stomach by the gray monster, sending him flying backward.
Seeing that Huang Mao had been brutally killed by the monster, Lin Yu decisively gave up and went to find his next teammate.
The man with the earring was waving his tan staff, constantly creating earthen walls to defend against the monsters' attacks. He was sweating profusely, but he managed to stabilize the situation.
Just then, a figure brushed past him and whispered in his ear, "If you want to live, come with me."
The man with the earring looked at Lin Yu, whose expression was extremely serious, with a puzzled expression.
Just as he was about to ask a question, a monster roared behind him. The man with the earring turned around and saw three gray-skinned monsters charging towards him.
"Holy crap!" The man with the earring didn't have time to ask any more questions. He immediately followed Lin Yu and ran, building earthen walls as they went to block the monster's advance.
"What is this kid up to?" Third Master frowned.
The situation they had painstakingly created was suddenly shattered by Lin Yu, which made Third Master inexplicably irritable.
Li Fei shrugged: "Let them do whatever they want. Just make sure these people don't die, even if they're barely alive."
Third Master nodded, then drew his bow and nocked an arrow, forcing back the monster that was about to pounce on Huang Mao and saving Huang Mao.
Yellow Hair fell to the ground, panting heavily. He turned his head and gave Third Master a grateful look before glaring angrily at Lin Yu.
Damn it! This guy almost got me killed by the monster, why doesn't he just die?
But then Lin Yu, leading one person and three monsters—well, now four—ran towards the woman in the leather jacket, shouting:
"I'm coming to save you!"
At this moment, the woman in the leather jacket was locked in a fierce battle with two gray-skinned monsters, struggling to hold on while waiting for Third Master and his men to provide fire support.
As a result, instead of receiving support from Third Master, they received "support" from Lin Yu.
The woman in the leather jacket was completely distraught.
"You, you want to kill me?" the woman in the leather jacket said in a trembling voice.
Lin Yu approached her expressionlessly and whispered in her ear, "If you don't want to die, come with me."
The woman in the leather jacket bit her lip, glanced at the four monsters rushing towards her from behind, and had no choice but to follow.
So Lin Yu ran ahead alone, with the two women in leather jackets close behind, and six monsters chasing after them from behind.
"Wait, are you taking us to the emergency exit?!" The woman in the leather jacket exclaimed in disbelief, her voice suddenly rising.
The man with the earring stared at Lin Yu in disbelief: "Are you crazy?"
Both of them realized the seriousness of the situation. Once they entered the passage, they would be completely separated from Third Master's group. Without Third Master's protection, they would only face certain death.

"Why did you want to harm us?" the man with the earring roared.
Lin Yu calmly shook his head: "I'm saving you."
