The metal door opened.
Third Master and Li Fei looked into the room and saw a spacious hall with a dance floor, bar, and booths.
The dance floor was packed with writhing gray monsters, and two people stood at the bar: Lin Yu and a blonde woman in a uniform.
Third Master and Li Fei were initially startled, but breathed a sigh of relief when they realized the monster wasn't attacking them.
Third Master then pointed at Lin Yu and laughed:
"Hey! This kid's right here. Grab him and split the reward!"
Li Fei also laughed, raising his gun and pointing it directly at Lin Yu:
"Song Tianhuo, this time you can't escape even if you grow wings!"
Lin Yu turned around and met the eyes of the two of them.
Lin Yu wasn't surprised that the two of them were able to successfully reach the 7th floor; in fact, he was a little excited.
Isn't this a reward delivered right to my door?
Unlike his initial panic and caution when dealing with them, Lin Yu had nothing to worry about now, because he was confident!
When you become stronger, you'll find that your once formidable enemies aren't so bad after all. Perhaps that's the allure of becoming stronger?

Li Fei gritted his teeth: "The situation is not right, retreat!"
Currently, both of them are seriously injured. If they were to fight Lin Yu, they would likely suffer an unexpected defeat. Li Fei naturally did not want that to happen.
Without the slightest hesitation, the two turned and ran. The more arrogant they were when they came, the more panicked they were now!
"Where are you going?" Lin Yu drew his sword and gave chase. How could he let go of a reward that was delivered to his doorstep?
At that moment, the dungeon notification sounded simultaneously in the ears of several people:
The performance will begin in half an hour. Please arrive at the theater on the 9th floor before the performance starts.
Lin Yu's eyes flickered. The dungeon had finally provided information about the main quest. The performance would begin in half an hour, which meant he had half an hour to complete the hidden quest.
Now, should we continue fighting against Third Master and his group, or go on a hidden mission?
Almost simultaneously, the music stopped in the dance floor, the gray-skinned monsters ceased their movements, and driven by instinct, all looked toward the food closest to them.

Lin Yu unleashed his full power and charged towards the metal door he had come from. The next instant, the monsters roared and pounced on him.
The speed of a level 7 monster is unimaginable; if Lin Yu slows down even slightly, he could be caught up!
Even faster than the monster was the blonde woman in the uniform, who lifted her feet off the ground and floated towards Lin Yu, her pupils flashing green light.
Lin Yu turned around and his face changed color in horror.
He saw the green light in the woman's pupils spread in a ring, covering an area of 5 meters.
Lin Yu realized that he had been standing within this area when he was pulled into the illusion.
Now, I absolutely cannot let myself be dragged into this again!
Even if he had mastered the method to escape the illusion, it would take time to escape. During this time, a group of level 7 monsters would have already pounced on him and torn him to pieces!

Lin Yu ran towards them frantically. Behind him, a ghostly figure wrapped in green light floated by, and behind that, there were countless gray-skinned monsters.
"Holy crap!" Third Master and Li Fei exclaimed in unison. Even they had never seen anything like this before!
Although they had been to the Midnight Theater once before, they had left after completing the side quest last time.
Originally, they planned to slip away and find another group of companions to continue doing side quests, but Lin Yu ruined their plans!
Without teammates to sacrifice to, they couldn't safely return to the 6th floor and had to continue the main quest.
And what do you expect? As soon as they continued, they were all dumbfounded; this was too terrifying!
"We can't let these monsters catch up, or we'll all be doomed!" Third Master said in a trembling voice.
"Use firepower to force Song Tianhuo back, and let that kid hold off the monster for us!" Li Fei suggested.
With that, he gritted his teeth and pulled the trigger repeatedly behind him.
Third Master then gripped his longbow and fired arrows backward.
"Bang! Bang!"
"Whoosh!"
Gunfire erupted and arrows flew, putting immediate pressure on Lin Yu. If Lin Yu slowed down, the monsters behind him would catch up.
Lin Yu gritted his teeth, neither dodging nor avoiding, and used his sword to cleave through the incoming bullets and arrows.
The immense kinetic energy quickly made Lin Yu's arm numb and weak, leaving him unable to swing. Another arrow and three bullets came hurtling towards him, and Lin Yu was powerless to stop them.
