Chapter 5: Surprising, isn't it? Unexpected, isn't it?

"puff!"

Gui Muyuan's body trembled violently, and then froze completely.

A stream of light flew into Lin Yu's body.

【Experience points: 10%】 Yu glanced at the control panel and nodded in satisfaction.

The archers and the others were petrified upon witnessing this scene.

Archer: "Holy crap!"

Teammate: "Holy crap!"

So Lin Yu was pretending to be Gui Muyuan, and even imitating a monster's roar!

Where is your integrity?

Lin Yu sneered: "What are you complaining about? You all forced me to do this."

After saying that, Lin Yu climbed up a tree in a few quick movements along the vines and disappeared into the shadows.

The group realized what was happening too late and tried to catch up, but it was too late.

"Lin Yu, you deserve to die!" The archer roared in fury, firing several arrows haphazardly at the surrounding trees.

"bite."

A metallic clang rang out from behind the curtain-like vines.

Lin Yu held the iron sword horizontally in front of his chest to block the incoming arrow. The huge impact made Lin Yu's hands go numb, and a crack appeared on the iron sword.

It wasn't this one blow that caused it, but rather that the sword simply couldn't withstand a series of violent impacts; after all, it was just a broken iron sword.

Even though it was just a broken iron sword, Lin Yu still felt a heartache so intense it was hard to breathe.

This sword is worth at least 998!

"He's there! Catch him now, don't let him get away!" the archer roared, pointing angrily in the direction the voice came from.

Without saying a word, the group rushed over.

The vines swayed, and Lin Yu, like a nimble monkey, swung from one tree to another, muttering curses under his breath:

"You wait, I will be back!"

A few breaths later, Lin Yu's figure completely disappeared.

"Lin Yu, I'm screaming!"

The archers' roars echoed through the jungle, startling flocks of birds into the sky, while wild boars cowered in the bushes, trembling with fear.

After a long while, the archer sighed, "Let's keep grinding."

The group set off again, their figures forlorn.

Time passed, and the sunlight slanted down towards the horizon.

At that moment, Lin Yu quietly approached in one direction and then quietly hid in the bushes.

Through the gaps in the bushes, Lin Yu saw that the archer and his men were carefully setting a trap.

The so-called trap was very crude; it was simply a handful of tender grass spread on the ground, with a bottle of light blue liquid poured on it.

After that, the group waited quietly to the side.

"Boss, does this potion really work?" someone asked curiously.

The archer nodded emphatically: "This potion cost me a full 5,000 coins."

"Simply sprinkle it on the food that golden tuna loves to eat, and it will attract all the golden tuna within a 2-kilometer radius. Once attracted, the golden tuna will ignore all dangers and only have their eating instinct left."

Upon hearing this, his teammates' eyes lit up.

Lin Yu's eyes also lit up.

We all waited and waited.

Finally, five minutes later, a group of golden rabbits strode over with an air of indifference, seemingly oblivious to the people around them, their eyes fixed solely on the food.

"Ten came in total!"

Upon closer inspection, the archers' breathing became rapid, as if they were ancient patrons of a brothel seeing a girl in a brothel.

"Boss, how do we divide it?" someone asked, his mouth dry.

The archer smiled, seemingly having already devised a plan for the distribution, waiting only for the other archer to ask.

The archer said, "I want four. The rest, one for each of you."

The others had no objections; after all, he had provided the props and potions, so they were already being generous with their share.

Ten golden rams were munching on grass, completely unaware that they were being divided up by humans.

Someone chuckled and said, "What are you waiting for? Let's get started! After working so hard for so long, it's finally time to open for business!"

Some people asked uncertainly, "We shouldn't get robbed this time, right?"

"Pah! Pah! You jinx, what nonsense are you spouting?" The others all looked constipated.

However, after hearing this, the group was still a little uneasy and subconsciously glanced at the surrounding trees, searching them carefully.

"Yes, no one is hiding anything."

The group breathed a sigh of relief, and the archer smiled and said, "Alright, if there are no problems, let's get started."

Just as the group was about to make their move, a figure suddenly jumped out of the bushes not far away.

As if he had rehearsed it countless times in his mind, the man pounced, his sword flashing, and he killed a golden rabbit with a single strike.

In just a few breaths, he killed 5 out of 10 golden rabbits, and streams of light flew into his body.

Experience points: 15%.

The remaining five golden rabbits, as if waking from a dream, fled in terror, enduring a mistreatment that their size did not warrant.

Lin Yu flicked his iron sword, shaking off the blood that stained its blade. Then, he looked at the others, who were also as if waking from a dream, and smiled:

"I knew it! I'd be back! Surprised? Unexpected?"
