Lin Yu was led to an interrogation room. Under the bright fluorescent lights, Captain Lu smiled and handed him a confession, saying:
"Sign and put your fingerprint on it quickly."
Lin Yu glanced at it; the confession described him as a heinous outlaw, listing various fabricated charges: murder, robbery, rape, organizing prostitution...
The last line clearly states:
I, Lin Yu, admit to everything I have done and am willing to bear all the punishment for it.

Lin Yu's face turned ashen as he glared at Captain Lu: "I'll sign you to hell with the Gobi Desert!"
Captain Lu's smile vanished, and he said coldly:
"I have a million ways to make you sign obediently!"
But then he beckoned, and one by one, instruments of torture were brought up, ready to be used on Lin Yu.
Captain Lu looked like he couldn't bear it, and said...
"That way, for every instrument you hand over, I'll use one less instrument of torture."
With a clatter, the handcuffs rattled, and Lin Yu suddenly produced a Shattering Star Sword in his hands, slashing towards Captain Lu's neck.
Do you really think I'm someone you can just manipulate?
"Clang!" At the critical moment, Captain Lu quickly drew a long sword and held it in front of him. The metal clashed, and although Captain Lu did not move, Lin Yu was thrown back by the force of the impact.

Before long, a new confession was delivered, and all the instruments of torture were in place. Captain Lu's voice was cold:
"Hurry up and sign the document, hand over the props!"
Just then, there was a knock on the interrogation room door. Captain Lu frowned. Who would disturb us at this hour?
Captain Lu calmly put away a pile of torture instruments and ordered someone to open the door.
A resolute-looking young man calmly walked in; it was Chen Ping. He had taken off his crisp security guard uniform and was wearing ordinary casual clothes.
"Old Chen," Lin Yu blurted out.
Chen Ping's eye twitched. He was only 23 years old, but being called "Old Chen" to his face felt really strange.
He nodded to Lin Yu, then looked at Captain Lu and said calmly:
"Orders have been issued from above to postpone the interrogation of Lin Yu."
Captain Lu sneered, "Chen Ping, you're a dismissed official. Go back to your interrogation room and await your fate. Stop pointing fingers here!"
Chen Ping glanced at him, took out a stack of documents, and slapped them on his face.
Captain Lu was furious, but his expression changed after seeing the contents of the document.
"The Hall of Job Change".
The document bears the seal of the Bureau of Job Transfer; they are temporarily transferring Lin Yu from the Public Security Bureau to assist them in interrogating a man named Liu.
Like the Public Security Bureau, the Job Change Hall is a law enforcement agency, but unlike the Public Security Bureau, the Job Change Hall gathers almost all of the powerful figures in the government, and its influence is far greater than that of the Public Security Bureau.
If the Hall of Job Change wanted to forcibly take him away, he wouldn't be able to stop them at all.
Captain Lu's expression grew increasingly grim. Soon, he realized something:
The two organizations had an agreement that those below level 30 would be under the jurisdiction of the Public Security Bureau, while those above level 30 would be under the jurisdiction of the Department of Job Transfer.
With this in mind, Captain Lu felt emboldened and sneered:
"This kid is only level 10. According to the rules, the Public Security Bureau has the priority to execute him. What right does the Job Transfer Hall have to interfere?"
Chen Ping looked at him like he was an idiot.
"Xiao Lu, can't you even read a document? The person the Shift Hall wants to interrogate is Liu, Liu Haoran."
"He's already at level 47, so isn't it normal for him to be transferred to the Hall of Justice for trial?"
Captain Lu's expression changed repeatedly. It was actually Liu Haoran! Chen Ping actually dared to attack Liu Haoran!
Captain Lu gritted his teeth and looked at Chen Ping:
"You, Chen Ping, you've been deliberately feigning weakness to lull us into a false sense of security, but you've been secretly contacting people from the Class Transfer Hall to interfere."
"You're not just meddling in other people's business anymore, you're making an enemy of us. Do you know the consequences of making an enemy of us?"
Chen Ping shrugged, looking completely indifferent.
"I stand on the side of justice. If you want to mess with Kobayashi, don't even think about it. You should think about how to get past the job change hall first."
Captain Lu panicked and immediately called his deputy:
"Hey, Deputy Chief, have you heard? The people from the Job Transfer Hall are actually trying to interfere in our case."
"Tell me, don't they think we're not respected? Don't they think you, the deputy head of the public security department, are respected?"
Upon hearing this, the deputy commander snorted coldly:
"Stop telling me this. If you want to protest, go protest yourself."
*Click*, the phone was hung up.
Clearly, the deputy director was also panicked, fearing that if Liu Haoran got into trouble, it would implicate him, and he decisively wanted to sever ties with them.
As for going against the Class Change Hall and refusing to let them take Lin Yu away?
