"By the way, do you think there are any other monsters in this secret realm?"
"The known monsters are: Mound Turtle, Blood-Eyed Spider, Golden Fish, and Black-Haired Baboon. Killing them will increase defense, agility, mana, and strength, respectively."
"Then, should there be monsters in the secret realm, which, when killed, can increase one's spirit and health?"
In the jungle near Duanshan, Lin Yu, Gao Yang, and Wang Xiaoran ate their food and had a discussion. Lin Yu raised his question.
“I think there should be other monsters,” Gao Yang said.
Wang Xiaoran nodded:
"However, we haven't encountered it. Does this mean it's in an area we haven't been to?"
Lin Yu agreed.
"Different monsters possess different territories, just as the Broken Mountain is to the baboon, the ocean to the Golden Fish, and the jungle to the Blood-Eyed Spider."
"Then, where are the other monsters?"
Nobody knows the answer.
"It seems we need to explore the island more deeply," Lin Yu said.
Gao Yang pointed to the Broken Mountain and suggested:
"Why don't we go back to Broken Mountain, climb to the top, and look down at the whole island? Maybe we can find it there."
Lin Yu thought it was a good idea.
But if Gao Yang had said so earlier, we wouldn't have had to make another trip to Duanshan.
"So, Gao Yang, this arduous task is entrusted to you."
Gao Yang: "..."
Half an hour later, Gao Yang returned, panting: "Found it!"
He gave a general description of the entire deserted island as he looked down upon it:
"The entire deserted island is shaped like a circle, with the outer circle being a beach and the inner circle being a jungle. The broken mountain is located in the jungle near the outer edge."
Lin Yu waved his hand: "Just tell me where you found it."
“In the heart of the jungle, there is a black area that is quite different from other places. It is far away, and I can’t see it clearly.”
"If nothing unexpected happens, it should be there."
Lin Yu nodded: "Then what are we waiting for? Let's go!"
"Then what are we waiting for? Let's go!" A light and cheerful voice rang out from the other side, belonging to Chu Lingyan, who had purple hair and purple eyes and a touch of playfulness.
Standing to the side was Qingxue, her chin slightly raised, her face aloof.
The two women had just finished fighting the baboons and were planning to look for other monsters. Gao Yang knew that he could climb to the top of the mountain and overlook the entire island. The two women, of course, also knew this and naturally discovered that area.
Naturally, we must go.
And so, as soon as they set off, they met each other.
"Hey, long time no see," Lin Yu greeted.
It did take quite a while, less than two hours.
Chu Lingyan asked suspiciously, "You're not intentionally following us, are you?"
Lin Yu shook his head: "You're overthinking it, it's just a coincidence."
Chu Lingyan expressed her doubts: "I feel like you've been following us. What a coincidence!"
“Yeah, what a coincidence. I have a feeling you’re deliberately following me here to stage an accident,” Lin Yu replied.
And so the two groups marched forward, arguing and bickering, until they unknowingly became one.
Of course, perhaps neither side realized it.
As the group continued their journey, Lin Yu discovered that to reach the heart of the jungle, they needed to traverse the territory of the Blood-Eyed Spiders, which was the place where human skins hung from the trees.
Seeing this eerie and chilling scene, Chu Lingyan was clearly startled, her pretty face turned slightly pale, and she subconsciously moved closer to Qingxue.
Qingxue remained calm, glanced at the scene, and offered a light reminder:
"Watch out, there's a monster!"
The monsters here can only be blood-eyed spiders.
But then they saw spiders the size of washbasins emerge from the dense foliage, their eyes bloodshot and their claws like spears, scrutinizing the group with the eyes of someone eyeing prey.
Qingxue did not hesitate, turning the pages of her magic book, already preparing her skill.
Even though Chu Lingyan was in a hurry, she quickly waved her magic staff, preparing to unleash her skill.
Lin Yu picked up the Shattered Star Sword, and Gao Yang and Wang Xiaoran also prepared for battle.
But something unexpected happened: when the blood-eyed spiders saw one of the people in the group, they trembled involuntarily, then turned and ran away, disappearing into the dense foliage in the blink of an eye.
Everyone was stunned, and Chu Lingyan and Qingxue were especially puzzled:
"What's going on?"
"Judging from this, it doesn't seem like they're playing hard to get; it's more like they've seen a deadly enemy and are terrified."
The question is, where are the deadly natural enemies?
The two women first ruled themselves out, as this was their first meeting. They also ruled out Gao Yang and Wang Xiaoran, as neither of them had the strength to become natural enemies.
The answer is obvious.
The two women looked at Lin Yu.
Lin Yu thought for a moment: "It's probably because I killed a lot of Blood-Eyed Spiders, and also the Blood-Eyed Spider King."
The two women were stunned.
Wow!
Lin Yu actually killed a King-level monster!
That's amazing, no, that's going too far!
If we've wiped out all the king-level monsters in the secret realm, what are they supposed to fight?
And now, all the Blood-Eyed Spiders have been scared away. How are they supposed to gain attribute points?
The two women looked at Lin Yu with hostility.
If looks could cause harm, Lin Yu would probably be lying on the ground, unable to get up.
"Why are you looking at me like that?" Lin Yu shrugged.
"I didn't mean to scare them away. If you want to fight, go ahead and chase them."
The two women thought about it and decided not to pursue.
Now that we know there are Blood-Eyed Spiders here, we can fight them anytime. Right now, our priority is to go fight other monsters with Lin Yu and the others.
After all, there might still be a King-level monster over there, possibly the last King-level monster. We absolutely cannot let Lin Yu take it down!
