Chapter 1013 [Observation] His Majesty is really dependent on his mentor.

Chapter 1013 [Observation] His Majesty is really dependent on his mentor.

On the day of the coronation ceremony.

The gentleman followed Christie into the palace hall.

This was, after all, a serious and solemn occasion, and the gentleman tried his best to appear less casual.

Christie stood in front of the King and Queen, and out of the corner of her eye, she caught a glimpse of the gentleman who looked upright but was actually squinting with sleep. She couldn't help but smile slightly.

He restrained himself from letting his smile grow wider.

...

After the coronation ceremony concluded.

The gentleman remained seated, but his posture changed from dignified and elegant to whatever made him comfortable.

Just as he was lounging around like a couch potato, Tavana walked towards him with a shy yet delighted expression.

"Sir, I'm so glad to see you again."

gentlemen:"?"

Who are you?

The man racked his brains, but showed no sign of it on his face. He nodded politely to Tavana, while glancing at Christie out of the corner of his eye.

Christie walked over calmly, a gentle smile on her face. "Miss Tavana."

Tavana bowed to him, and seeing that both of them were looking at her, she paused for a moment and said, "You two continue, I'll take my leave now."

After she walked away, Christie looked at the man with a half-smile, "Going?"

“Let’s go.” The gentleman slowly stood up and slipped out of the palace hall with Christie.

Arriving at a spot where few people passed by, Christie removed the heavy crown from her head, leaned against the wall, and looked at the gentleman.

What are you planning to do next?

Mr.: "Go to other places and experience life."

Christie: "..."

Fine, fine, I'll stay and manage Celitia, while you leisurely travel and enjoy yourself, huh?

Thinking about it this way, Christie was still smiling, but her eyes became slightly resentful.

"I'll come back to see you," the man said rather insincerely.

Christie scoffed, "You'd be lucky to remember that."

The man nodded. "You're right, so you should come see me."

Christie: ?

Glancing at the speechless Christie, a smile flashed across the man's eyes, but then he changed the subject, "If nothing unexpected happens, Lyriad will launch another war against Celitia, but you can handle it, right?"

Christie nodded.

“Okay, then I’ll leave tomorrow.” The man nodded.

Christie: "? So fast."

The man smiled slightly and patted his head. "Just say so if you can't bear to part with me."

Christie glanced at him. "Don't talk like you wouldn't leave if I told you."

"So you really couldn't bear to part with me."

The gentleman seemed genuinely surprised.

Christie: ...

"Which eye of yours saw that?"

The man smiled casually, "Two."

After saying that, he suddenly took Christie's crown and put it back on her head, saying, "Someone's coming."

Christie stood up straight silently.

"Your Majesty, so you've been here. Duke Gas has been looking for you."

"I see."

Christie responded softly, glancing at the gentleman.

The man slightly raised his chin at him.

You go ahead with your work, I'm going back to lie down first.

Christie's eyes crinkled slightly as she reached out and tugged at his sleeve as he turned away.

"?" The man paused, and was thus dragged back to the palace.

The servant who came looking for Christie: ?

On the surface, he appeared calm and composed, but inwardly he muttered to himself, "His Majesty is so dependent on his mentor."

In reality, Christie stopped Mr. because she thought: "I can't bear to see you resting alone while I still have things to do. Come back with me."

The gentleman was led back into the palace without changing his expression. Although he was back, Christie was still the only one busy with the work.

He leaned against, sat, and admired the plants, daydreamed, and dozed off, fiddling with the plants and playing with the birds and insects.

Christie caught a glimpse of him out of the corner of her eye, paused for a moment, then quickly looked away, intending to avoid seeing him altogether.

Yes, if it weren't for Mr. [Name], he wouldn't be as busy as he is now.

As she thought about it, Christie's smile deepened.

The dukes and earls who were talking to him felt a chill run down their spines, and the "No, no" they were about to blurt out turned into: "What Your Majesty says makes sense, we'll consider it."

"Then I'll have to trouble you all," Christie replied with a smile.

"Okay."

"no problem."

The group nodded hurriedly.

The former king, who was secretly watching from the corner, nodded in satisfaction. "As expected of Christie, she has the style I had back in the day."

His queen stood aside, and upon hearing this, smiled helplessly, "It is clearly even worse."

"Alright, you're right," the former king said cheerfully. "Shouldn't we get ready to travel the world?"

The queen coughed lightly, feeling a slight pang of guilt towards her son who had just ascended the throne, then nodded. "Alright, go back and pack now, we'll set off tomorrow!"

The man who overheard their conversation: Hmm?

The three of them looked at each other.

Two of them were slightly embarrassed.

Wang coughed and said, "Hey, why don't you join us, sir?"

The man nodded. "That's exactly what I was thinking. Let's go together tomorrow."

Queen: Happy.

Christie: ?

Then suddenly another person appeared, and the four of them looked at each other.

"Oh dear, the weather is so hot today, my lover and I went for a walk. You two chat." The king touched his nose guiltily, then put his arm around the equally guilty queen and quickly left.

Christie looked at the man with a forced smile.

The man looked at him for two seconds, then calmly put his arm around him and said, "Come on, I'll take you for a walk too."

Christie: "...?"
