Chapter 102 The Little White Bird

Chapter 102 The Little White Bird

Smelling the aroma of the vegetable and lean meat porridge, Professor Agasa touched his nose, nodded, and went to that room.

Shiho Miyano had indeed woken up, but she was still wary of the unfamiliar surroundings.

She clutched her dizzy head, threw off the covers, and was about to get out of bed when Professor Agasa, who had come to check on her, stopped her.

He stepped forward to support her, saying, "Hey, hey, your fever hasn't gone down yet, lie down and rest for a while longer."

Shirley was stunned for a moment, and then in that moment of confusion, she was pressed back down to lie down.

"I..." she began to speak, but her voice was hoarse because she hadn't had any water and had a fever.

"Don't worry, you should rest first. Although I don't know how you collapsed in front of the new house, it's fortunate that Qianzhu found you in time, otherwise your fever would definitely be more serious."

Dr. Agasa offered her a word of comfort.

But the little hedgehog, who was extremely insecure, was having all sorts of wild thoughts.

Until a fragrance caught her attention, pulling her out of her reverie.

She looked towards the doorway, somewhat dazed, and saw a gentle young man carrying a bowl of porridge as he walked in.

Qianzhu looked at Shirley, who had already woken up, and smiled slightly. "You're awake? Do you feel uncomfortable anywhere? Get up and have some porridge to warm your stomach."

Professor Agasa helped her sit up and placed a pillow behind her to make her more comfortable.

Somewhat dazed, Shirley stared at the black-haired boy who sat down beside her, whose hair seemed to exude gentleness. On a whim, she took the porridge from his hand and whispered, "I can do it myself."

"Be careful, it's still hot." The boy gently reassured her, then glanced at Professor Agasa beside him and chuckled helplessly, "I knew you'd be tempted, so I cooked extra. Go ahead and eat, you don't need to save any for me."

"Oh dear, Qianzhu, you've really gone to a lot of trouble."

Upon hearing this, Dr. Agasa chuckled, not embarrassed, and then turned and walked towards the kitchen.

Qianzhu glanced at the girl who was eating porridge with her head down and taking small bites, then stood up and opened the window a little.

He looked up at the sky.

The rain is about to stop.

After watching her finish the bowl of porridge, Qianzhu took the empty bowl, smiled at her, and said softly, "Your fever hasn't completely subsided yet, go back to sleep. Call us if you feel unwell."

"Don't you have any questions for me?"

Shirley remained silent for a while, then, seeing Qianzhu about to leave the room, she suddenly spoke up with her head down.

"Hmm?" The black-haired boy turned around in confusion, then chuckled as if he found it a little amusing. "There's nothing to ask. Besides, you're still sick. We can ask you when you're better."

"Okay, don't overthink it. I don't know what happened to you, but you'll be alright. Go to sleep, goodnight." After turning off the room light, Qianzhu quietly closed the door and took the empty bowl to the kitchen.

Then they ran into Professor Agasa, who was washing dishes.

Professor Agasa took the bowl from his hand, and after washing it and chatting for a few minutes, Chitake went back.

On the way back, a chubby white bird suddenly appeared out of nowhere and landed on Qianzhu's shoulder.

It held a white gem in its mouth, and Qianzhu reached out and took the gem.

The moment it touched him, the white gem suddenly turned into a wisp of smoke and dissipated.
