Chapter 134 Insights into Art

Chapter 134 Insights into Art

His head, hidden under his hood, was slightly tilted towards the two women, and his tone carried a strange charm.

The two embraced each other, who were trembling all over, and looked at Asti with some fear as they slowly retreated to a corner.

Asti left Cook, who was fixated on the alarm, a little further away and stood directly in front of it.

“Mr. Cook, please don’t get agitated. Perhaps you should listen to me and sit down for a chat.”

Cook took a deep breath, looking warily at the mysterious man before him who was clearly quite strong, and gestured with a trembling hand, "Please sit down, what would you like to talk about?"

Asti sat down as he did, leaning back comfortably in his chair. After a moment's thought, he asked, "Mr. Cook, what are your thoughts on art?"

“Art… art?” Cook wiped the sweat from his forehead, glancing occasionally at the bright red alarm in the distance.

The more he looked at it, the more charming and attractive it seemed to him compared to the two women.

"Art, art is a form of expressing truth..." he stammered out a sentence.

Cook inwardly groaned; he knew absolutely nothing about art!

Asti nodded seriously, as if he completely agreed with what he said, "Yes, you're right, art in the world is a way of expressing truth."

"But that's not all. Art can also express the emotions in people's hearts. Art is the crystallization of the artist's aesthetic consciousness and the product created by the artist... Art can make people feel physical and mental pleasure..." Asti muttered in a strange tone, seemingly lost in thought.

He then turned to Cook and said, "Mr. Cook, I am an ordinary artist. I would like to ask you to comment on my new work. Would that be alright?"

Seeing that he seemed to genuinely only want to discuss art with him, Cook breathed a sigh of relief and nodded with a fawning smile, "Sure, sure, of course no problem!"

"Are you really doing this voluntarily?" Asti asked with a strange smile.

“Of course it’s voluntary!” Cook didn’t even think about the strange tone in his voice and nodded in agreement.

Asti laughed heartily, then picked up her glass and handed it to him. "Thank you so much, Mr. Cook. I guarantee my new work will be a revelation to you."

Cook was filled with relief at escaping a disaster, so he took the glass without hesitation and drank it all in one gulp.

The next second, he rolled his eyes and fainted.

Upon seeing this, the two women screamed in terror and frantically tried to escape.

Asti glanced at them, then casually tossed out a spell.

Two thuds.

The two women immediately collapsed to the ground and fell fast asleep.

Asti slowly stood up and took off the black gloves on his hands.

He methodically removed Cook's clothes, then took out a dagger and a blank picture frame from his magic pocket. After brandishing the dagger at Cook a few times, he cut open his flesh.

Then he glued the sliced, still dripping with blood, flesh onto the picture frame.

He moved quickly, but each slice of meat was almost exactly the same thickness.

After nearly half an hour, Asti looked at the blood-red picture frame in front of him, a satisfied smile appearing in his purple eyes.

He placed Cook, whose body was mangled and covered in blood, with bones almost visible in some places, but who was still breathing, on a chair and then placed the picture frame in his lap for him to hold.
