Chapter 136 The Old Crow Has No Good Intentions
After handing in the task to the man with the scar on his face in his office, Asti coldly asked, "Is there anything else I need to do?"
The scarred man looked at the mysterious man in front of him with a complicated expression, lit a cigar, took a puff, leaned back in his chair, and waved his hand, "That's all for now. Go and rest."
Asti nodded, then turned to leave, but before he exited the door, he heard a sound behind him.
"I don't care how you like to complete the task, but the Boss said that you are now under my command. If you disobey me in the slightest, I can deal with you by any means necessary, and the Boss won't care."
Asti narrowed his eyes slightly beneath his hood, then spoke in a still indifferent tone: "Understood."
After saying that, he left without looking back.
Upon arriving at his assigned room, Asti did not immediately remove his hood. Instead, he waved his wand under his cloak to disable all the hidden surveillance before finally taking off his hat.
"Tsk, I knew that old crow had ill intentions."
Behrfinger cursed, then sneered, "But how could I let anyone bully me so easily?"
After his breathtaking artwork, it's unlikely anyone will come looking for him right now, but just in case, Behefinger cast a spell in the room before changing into the church's exclusive platinum cloak and using teleportation to enter the church.
No sooner had they arrived than they ran into the most senior nun.
Upon seeing him, Yuna bowed respectfully and greeted him, "Greetings, Master Magician."
"Greetings, Yuna." Behefinger nodded to him, then walked over to find a witch who was brewing a magic potion.
"What are you doing? Coming to me to complain, you little crybaby?" Morataya said without turning her head, stirring the black liquid rolling in the pot with a black stick of unknown material.
Behrfinger rolled his eyes. "You're dreaming. You're not the main character."
Then he took a glass coffin out of his magic pouch and placed it beside him, patted Morataya on the shoulder, and said, "Alright, I'll leave Morofushi Kagemitsu to you. I'm off now~"
Morataya rolled her eyes dismissively. "Let's go, let's go quickly."
She raised her hand and waved it at the blue flames burning at the bottom of the pot. The flames immediately went out without a trace of smoke, and the liquid in the pot stopped boiling instantly, turning a clear light blue color.
Morataya took a large wooden spoon, scooped up a spoonful of light blue magic potion, and poured it over the glass coffin.
The glass melted instantly, vanished, and turned into a wisp of smoke that drifted away.
After the glass disappeared completely, she raised her hand and made Morofushi Kagemitsu float to the bed next to her, then scooped up a cup of medicine and poured it into his mouth.
After standing by the bed for a few seconds, watching the pale-skinned man on the bed gradually become rosy and alive, Morataya moved away and poured the medicine into a small glass bottle.
After a large pot of liquid was divided into smaller portions, only five small glass bottles, each no bigger than two fingers, remained.
After shaking the potions to release bubbles, she put all five bottles into a small basket beside her. Then she went to the bedside, looked at the man who was slowly breathing and having a heartbeat, raised her hand and covered his forehead, whispering a few inaudible incantations.
