Chapter 269 It's impossible to settle down
Gin expressionlessly removed his hand. "If you really wanted to go over and play, why didn't you just say you'd take the things over yourself?"
"No, that's not it~ I just wanted to scare Bourbon~" Bertrand nodded rhythmically, then simply hugged Gin's arm and continued to whine, "Please, please, I want to go see him~"
"Koto-chan~ Look at me~ Can you hear me~ Koto~chan~"
Gin clicked his tongue impatiently, then stood up, pulled the boy off his arm, and carried him upstairs.
Gin tucked the man into bed, expressionlessly pulled the blanket over him, and then left in silence, as if he had said everything.
Bertrand, puffing out his cheeks, clutched the blanket, buried his head in it, and then poked his head out halfway. His eyes darted around mischievously before he suddenly threw off the blanket and sat up.
"No way! I have to go check out the experimental base!"
After putting on his little leather shoes, he opened the window and was about to climb out when fate grabbed him by the back of his collar.
He opened his eyes, turned his head to look, and then gave the silver-haired man in black a cute smile, "Oh, Qin-chan, what a coincidence~"
Sure enough, this brat was never going to stay still.
Gin took a breath; he was now filled with rage, wanting to punch someone but unable to.
"I'll take you there, but you'd better not touch those experimental subjects."
He said in a somber tone, then lifted the person out of the house and into the car like a cat.
Sitting in the passenger seat, Bertrand stood with his hands on his hips, seemingly both dissatisfied and proud. "If you were still going to take me, you should have just agreed in the first place!"
With a blank expression, Afra and Akemi climbed into the back seat and followed. They nodded in agreement.
Gin decided to remain silent and drove to the organization's experimental base.
Just as they arrived, Scotland came out of there. He glanced at Gin, then followed him back into the base.
Faced with the brewery's top workaholic exuding an icy aura and the fearless little madman bouncing around behind him, the researchers passing by or being passed by instinctively lowered their heads, pretending to look at what they were holding, looking at the sky and the ground but not at them.
Upon arriving at Seeker's laboratory, Bertrand appeared beside him as if by teleportation, watching with wide curiosity as he processed the few drops of blood in the glass bottle.
"How's it going, Sai-chan~"
Seeker, who had been frowning, turned to look at him helplessly upon hearing this, "I only just got the blood sample, my little darling."
Bertrand paused, then stuck out his tongue sheepishly, "Then you continue, I'll go look around elsewhere~"
As he spoke, he ran around the huge laboratory, looking east, west, north, touching and poking at everything.
Then, under the cover of Afra and the other two, he secretly slipped a few vials of medicine into his bag, and then pretended nothing had happened and continued to look around and touch things.
Seeing that he was really jumping around, Gin frowned and personally held him down, "Don't jump around too much."
Okay~
Bertrand kicked his toes, but his eyes kept scanning the laboratory, trying to find something interesting that he hadn't seen.
Then he saw a cabinet that had been deliberately locked.
