After the case was completely closed, Tomoaki Araide pulled Ran aside for a private talk, while Kogoro Mouri and Conan, acting suspiciously, peeked out from behind the wall and eavesdropped openly.

Shinichiro spoke somewhat embarrassedly.
When he said the first half of his sentence, Mori pointed at himself with a puzzled look, but Conan immediately misinterpreted it as Mori wanting him to agree to his marriage with Ran. It wasn't until he heard the second half of his sentence that his lips twitched and he looked relieved.
