Chapter 294 Her good-for-nothing godson is finally going to make a move?
As Shinichi Kudo headed to the crime scene, he was below the Central Building.
A woman with black hair and blue eyes led a boy with silver hair and green eyes into the building.
Bertrand looked around and raised his eyebrows slightly.

Vermouth, disguised as Afra, pushed up her glasses and smiled at Bertrand, saying, "Let's have dinner here tonight."
Bertrand nodded with a grin, "Okay, okay~"
The two arrived at the observation restaurant. Vermouth was chatting and laughing with her sweetheart when she suddenly caught a glimpse of someone sitting by the window, seemingly waiting for someone – her Angel!
Vermouth's eyelids twitched, and she instinctively blocked Bertrand's view, then casually led him to their reserved spot.
Bertrand looked at her with a puzzled expression, then pursed his lips slightly.
Their location wasn't very close to Kudo and the others, but if Bertrand turned around, he could easily see Ran Mouri's face.
Vermouth was multitasking, keeping an eye on Ran Mouri's situation while chatting with Bertrand.
Just then, a waitress brought a dessert to Ran Mouri's table. She was about to put the dessert down when Ran stopped her. "Excuse me, could you please wait for my friend to come back before serving the dessert? He went over after hearing the scream, but he's a detective, so he should be able to solve it quickly."
The waiter chuckled and nodded after hearing this. "Of course."
Although she couldn't hear their voices, Vermouth managed to get a general idea of what they were saying by reading their lip movements.
She couldn't help but recall what Yukiko Kudo had told her about the scene where Yusaku Kudo proposed to her; it seemed they had been in this very spot...

After the case was closed, Shinichi Kudo turned back into Conan Edogawa. Looking at his shrunken hands, he let out a helpless sigh.
He took out the credit card, looked at it, then ran out of the restroom and back to the observation restaurant, handing the credit card to Ran Mouri.
"Sister Ran, this is your credit card. Shinichi asked me to give it to you. He just received a call saying there was a problem with a big case, and then he rushed out..."
Ran stared blankly at Conan, then her expression turned dejected, a slight smile playing on her lips, but her eyes were filled with sorrow. "He left me behind again..."
Conan fell silent, overwhelmed with unbearable pain, but he still forced a smile as he looked up at Ran. "By the way, Shinichi asked me to pass on a message...
