Chapter 32 I hope you die later

Chapter 32 I hope you die later

It's nothing more than wondering why I'm still alive, so he can make me into a specimen...

Karasuma Renya's lips twitched slightly as he looked at Bertrand with an extremely helpless expression.

"How have you been lately? Have you been having fun?" he asked softly, his voice clear and magnetic, but with a hint of vicissitude.

Bertrand smiled broadly and nodded cheerfully, "Of course, I'm super happy!"

He went on and on, saying this and that.

The laboratory was filled with the voices of Bertrand and occasionally Karasuma Renya, who laughed and echoed his words.

Gin, on the other hand, stood to the side with his hands in his pockets.

This scene seemed somewhat serene and peaceful.

Tired of talking, Bertrand poured himself a glass of water without hesitation. While drinking, he caught a glimpse of a small silver gift box on the table.

"What is this?" he asked as he picked it up, even opening it out of curiosity.

Upon seeing the contents of the box, Bertrand's eyes lit up. "What a beautiful cat's eye stone! It's mine!"

He took the cat's eye stone out and tossed the box back onto the table.

The blood-red gemstone looks exactly like a cat's eye; at first glance, it seems as if it really was taken from a cat's eye.

Seeing how much he loved it, Karasuma Renya couldn't help but chuckle. "I'm glad you like it. It was originally meant to be a gift for you."

"Aww! Sir, you're so kind! Since you gave me a gift, I wish you a longer death!"

Bertrand happily put the cat's eye stone into his bag.

Upon hearing this, Karasuma Renya's lips twitched slightly, and then he let out a soft sigh, seemingly weary.

"Alright, I need to rest now. You guys go back first."

Okay~

Satisfied, Bertrand had his hands in his pockets and obediently followed Gin out of Safe House 1.

As Karasuma Renya watched them leave, his gaze shifted to the abandoned gift box on the table. He shook his head helplessly, reached out and put the lid back on, his eyes filled with a doting smile.

...

"Shouldn't we hold a welcome party for the newcomers, Koto-chan?"

In the car, Bertrand leaned his head into the front seat, rested his chin on his hands, and blinked at Gin.

"We'll see, and besides, you should go to sleep now, little dwarf."

Gin snorted coldly, glancing at the boy as a mocking smile curled at the corners of his mouth.

Bertrand glared, then slapped Gin. "I'm only fifteen! I can still grow! Besides, so what if I'm 1.6 meters tall! If you bring up my height again, believe me, I'll flatten you!"

Gin chuckled upon hearing this and ignored the complaining boy.

As he got tired of talking, Bertrand fell asleep in the back seat, still clutching his cat bag.

The car was parked in safe house number 3.

Qin-chan glanced at the sleeping boy in the back seat, resignedly picked him up and carried him toward the safe house.

Upon opening the door, they found Vodka and the others, as well as the newlywed, all there.

When the people chatting saw the person Gin was holding, they all unconsciously lowered their voices.

Of course, half of the people were drawn to it because they loved it, while the other half were drawn to it because they were horrified.

After placing him on the bed in the room, Qin Jiang casually pulled the blanket over him and then left.

He was used to Bertrand's habit of sleeping with his cat in his bag, but he didn't understand why.

Although the bag had been with him ever since the Boss brought him back to the organization.

Gin closed the door, took out a cigarette, and lit it.

Returning to the living room, he glanced at the codenamed members drinking and chatting, took a drag of his cigarette, and said casually, "Little Madman asked if we should throw a welcome party for the newcomers. You guys decide."

After saying that, he left the safe house, got into his car, and drove away.
