Chapter 361 is open! That's amazing!
Qianzhu looked at her, took out a new handkerchief and handed it to her, asking softly, "Did something happen?"
Ran wiped away her tears with a handkerchief and sobbed, "I...I saw Shinichi's ghost in the secret room. Did something happen to him? Is he really...?"
"Hmm?" Qianzhu seemed to be taken aback for a moment, then suddenly laughed. His gentle voice, with a hint of amusement, comforted her, "There are no ghosts in this world. What you saw in the secret room was probably just a projection. A similar projection appeared in my secret room as well."
Ran Mouri was completely stunned. "Is...is that so?"
“Of course, we can just call Shinichi to confirm after we leave Twilight Villa,” Chizuru comforted her, then turned and looked around the room. “But before that, I think we need to find a way to get out of this room first.”
Ran Mouri thought Chizuru made sense, so she quickly calmed down, looked around the room, and then got off the bed.
"By the way, how did we get into this room?"
"They should drug us like they did in the restaurant before bringing us to this room," Qianzhu replied, picking up a small box from the bedside table and looking at it.
Ran Mouri also rummaged through the room, looking for a key or a spare. "Could it be because none of us solved the secret room within an hour?"
"Probably." Qianzhu smiled and nodded slightly, then sighed helplessly, "I hope our 'disappearance' didn't have any impact on them."
"Oh right, I wonder how Dad and Conan are doing." Ran Mouri frowned with concern.
After searching for a while, Qianzhu found a wooden combination lock box in the cabinet under the coffee table. The box was carved with intricate patterns, and it seemed that opening the box required restoring the scrambled puzzle pieces on it.
Qianzhu picked it up and shook it; some clattering sounds came from inside.
There's something in here, I wonder if it's a key or something.
Qianzhu placed the box on the coffee table, rested her chin on her hand, and looked at it thoughtfully for a moment.
Ran Mouri walked over and examined the combination lock box with curiosity, then pointed to a piece of wood with a crow's head carved on it. "The pattern on this looks like the crow's emblem."
Qianzhu nodded slightly and moved the wooden puzzle pieces a bit. "Let's put these pieces together first and then look at the others."
It took him about ten minutes to restore the pattern to its original position, and the combination lock unlocked with a soft click.
Inside was indeed a key and a folded piece of paper.
Upon opening the note, one could see a sentence written on it: "It's open! That's amazing."
Qianzhu paused for a moment, then smiled sheepishly, "It seems like I've been mocked."
A bead of sweat rolled down Ran Mouri's forehead, and she gave a somewhat embarrassed smile. "Let's try this key and see if it can open the door."
Nodding, Qianzhu got up and followed her to the door.
The key opened the door lock without any problems.
Ran Mouri opened the door and peeked out, then felt a chill run down her spine and shivered. "Why is it so dark outside?"
Qianzhu glanced outside and saw that it was indeed pitch black. So he picked up a small candle-shaped lamp from the cabinet next to the door and went out first. "This should be fine."
