Chapter 419 The feel is so good that I can't put it down.
"The other party probably doesn't know the true function of the Gevinti magic stone fragment. Perhaps they just found out about it by chance and wanted to take it back to study it."
Seeing R's calm demeanor, Kaito Kuroba raised an eyebrow. "Sensei, aren't you angry? After all, we don't even know if we can get it back."
"Why are you angry?" R's lips curled slightly, his refined appearance taking on a sinister air. His voice was gentle, but his tone carried a subtle sense of dominance. "What I want can only be mine."
Kaito Kuroba fell silent, coughed lightly, and muttered, "That seems to be true. I don't need to worry about this at all."
R chuckled softly, reverting to his usual gentle and elegant demeanor.
The camera pans to the other side.
After the organization's helicopter landed, and Bourbon and Berry were free to go wherever they wanted, Bertrand covered his mouth with his hand and yawned, then clung to Gin and gave him orders without any politeness.
"Quick, Koto-chan, let's go!"
Gin's forehead creased with a tic-tac-toe expression as he ripped the man off and shoved him into the hands of Vodka.
Bertrand chuckled, stepped onto the ground, and followed Gin into his car.
"Let's head to Safe House Number One now!"
Safe House Number One is an absolute secret; very few people in the entire organization know about it.
Of course, safe house number three isn't exactly a top secret.
The car drove to Safe House Number One, and Bertrand, looking like a young master, returned home with his bodyguards.
Arriving at the door of the laboratory where Karasuma Renya was staying, Bertrand left Gin outside and went inside himself.
After closing the door, Bertrand turned and glanced at the handsome man lying on the hospital bed, whose face seemed to be growing increasingly pale. He raised his hand and waved, "Hey, old man, how have you been feeling lately?"
Karasuma Renya coughed a few times, propped himself up to sit up, looked around at the boy he had doted on for several years, and a helpless smile appeared on his face, "Naturally, he's still the same as always."
"Hmph, you're right~" Bertrand sat on the chair by the bed, took the box containing the fragments of the Venti magic stone out of his bag and put it aside, then rested his head on the hospital bed and began to chat with Karasuma Renya about other everyday things.
The rich expressions on his face as he spoke made Karasuma Renya laugh and cough at the same time.
As he spoke, Bertrand changed the subject, shifting the pressure to the intelligence team.
"By the way, how's Uncle Rum and his team's information gathering going?"
Karasuma Renya knew he was asking about 'that organization,' so he coughed lightly and shook his head slightly. "That organization is too mysterious. Rum hasn't found anything useful yet."
Hmm... it's quite magical and mysterious that one mysterious organization says another is mysterious.
"That's a real shame." Bertrand shrugged, saying it was a shame, but his face was full of indifference.
"And another thing, what use is Asti to you now?" Bertrand rested his chin on his fists, looking up at Karasuma Renya, whose face had suddenly become a little rosy.
"It's not of much use for now." Karasuma Renya chuckled softly, reaching out to rub his head. The soft fur felt so good to touch that he couldn't bear to let it go.
Bertrand nodded with a smile, humming a tune.
