Chapter 424: Wouldn't it be better to add some excitement?
After a happy bubble bath, Bertrand stood out of the tub, humming a tune and covered in bubbles, and turned on the shower to rinse them off with warm water.
Stepping out of the bathroom in a bathrobe, Bertrand thought to himself as he dried his hair, "What was I originally going to do?"
His gaze fell on the cat-shaped handbag lying quietly on the bed, and he suddenly remembered, "Oh right, I was thinking of washing this."
After tossing the towel he used to dry his hair aside, Bertrand hummed a song as he emptied his bag and tossed it into the basket containing his change of clothes.
Then, out of nowhere, she pulled out an identical cat-shaped handbag and put all the things that had been poured out into it.
Bertrand looked at the black teddy bear in his hand, then at his bag. "Huh? When did this get in my bag?"
Little Bear: ……
"...Oops."
On the other side, Behringer, who was just about to grab the teddy bear, was speechless.
Touching the bandage on his neck, Behringer yawned, then took out a piece of paper and a pen, wrote a note by hand, placed it in a conspicuous spot, and then teleported away.
America.
On an island unknown to anyone.
Inside the sacred church, whispers of prayer filled the room.
Ignoring the scene, Behefinger went to the witch's room wearing a white-gold cloak and stole several bottles of magic potions.
He ran into Yuna as soon as he stepped outside.
"My Lord Magician."
Yuna glanced at the cross necklace with the letter B engraved on his neck and bowed respectfully.
Behefinger waved his hand and took a step to leave, but Yuna spoke up again: "My lord, the witch instructed that if she sees you, she should go to the town and meet with Mr. Morofuku."
Behffiner stopped abruptly, paused for a moment, then nodded. "I understand."
"Thank you for your hard work," Yuna said, bowing.
Flying swiftly to the town, Behffinger looked around and finally spotted Morofushi Kagemitsu tending to the flowerbeds.
After standing there for a while, Bechfengrae took off his hood and walked towards him.
Morofushi Kagemitsu caught a glimpse of him out of the corner of his eye, looked up at him, and visibly paused for a moment before a look of confusion appeared in his eyes.
Behringer smiled, greeted him naturally, and then quickly walked away.
Turning to watch his departing figure, a hint of doubt flashed in Morofushi Kagemitsu's eyes, and he murmured to himself, "Strange, why does he seem a little familiar..."
After hiding in a room, Behfinger sighed, "It seems he won't suddenly regain his memories... Although church members often brainwash themselves, they were instructed to avoid him, so it won't affect his subsequent memory recovery."
Behringer crossed his arms and pondered for a moment, "Speaking of which, can Kagemitsu instantly regain his memories when he sees Touko? Wouldn't it be better to give him a little shock?"
He muttered to himself as he quickly used the teleportation device to leave.
Neon Rice Flower Market.
Chino House.
Coughing sounds kept coming from inside the room.
Qianzhu nestled in the corner of the sofa, covered with a small blanket. Liu Qingyao carried out the kitchen with water that she had just boiled with magic, then used magic to cool it down before pouring it into a cup and handing it to Qianzhu.
Seeing his increasingly pale face, Liu Qingyao frowned slightly and turned to look at the white figure that had suddenly appeared in the center of the living room.
As soon as he appeared, Behefinger handed him the magic potion.
