Chapter 440 Running from one coffee shop to another
After saying that, he turned around to greet other guests.
Seeing his reaction, Conan didn't ask any more questions, but instead whispered with Ran and Chizuru.
Turning her head to glance at Behringer, who was mixing drinks, Morita Yumeko walked over to their table with the menu in hand. "Hello, what would you like to order?"
The three of them ordered three drinks and desserts.
Yumeko Morita turned and left, and a young man wearing a hat entered through the door.
Conan noticed and glanced at him curiously.
After serving the other guests' drinks, Behffiner turned and walked over to him. On the surface, it was a conversation between a guest and a waiter, but in reality, they were secretly exchanging information.
Conan, who caught a glimpse of this scene, tilted his head in confusion, intending to look past Chizuru sitting opposite him at the young man.
Behrfinger, holding the menu, smiled slightly at the young man.
After delivering the food that Conan and the others had ordered, Behringer was about to turn and leave when Ran suddenly called out to him.
"Hey, wait a minute, Behrfinger."
Behrfinger paused, turning to look at her with a puzzled expression. "Hmm? What's wrong?"
Ran Mouri paused for a moment, then quickly waved her hand apologetically, explaining, "Uh... it's nothing, I just wanted to ask how you've been lately, because you suddenly left the Nokron Hotel last time, so..."
Behfinger paused for a moment, then gave a warm smile. "Thank you for your concern, but I'm fine."
Seemingly to put their minds at ease, he thought for a moment and added, "Don't worry, I'll be working at the coffee shop a lot of time."
Ran Mouri held her coffee, smiled with some relief, and said, "Yes, we understand."
Behrfinger smiled slightly, turned around, and just then, Yumeko Morita called out to him.
"Behrfinger, could you come over here for a moment?" Morita Yumeko gently beckoned to him.
“Okay,” Behringer replied and walked towards her.
Ran Mouri followed his movements, looked at Yumeko Morita, then at Behringer, and suddenly couldn't help but smile.
Conan glanced at her with a puzzled look, then looked over as well, raising an eyebrow slightly as he watched the two talking.
According to Ayumi and the others, this Ms. Morita seems to like Behringer.
Qianzhu glanced at them, then turned slightly to look at Morita Yumeko, before lowering her head to eat a bite of her cake, seemingly indifferent, a subtle glint even flashing in her eyes.
After placing the coffee Amuro Toru ordered on his table, Behringer glanced around and, seeing that there was no immediate need for him, sat down opposite him, resting his chin on his hands and looking at him.
"What brings you here today? Aren't you usually a very busy person?"
Amuro Tooru took a sip of coffee and coughed lightly. "It's nothing, I just took a leave of absence from over there."
Behringer's lips twitched, and she looked at him with a hint of speechlessness. "Come on, taking time off from one coffee shop to go to another for coffee, you're something else."
"To... to increase your sales performance?" Amuro Tooru's tone was uncertain.
"Then thank you in advance~" Behringer chuckled, then suddenly remembered something and got up to walk towards the kitchen.
"Oh, wait for me a moment."
"Hmm?" Amuro Tooru looked at his back with a puzzled expression.
Not long after, Behringer came out of the kitchen with two small boxes of cake in her hands.
