Chapter 450 Stay Away From Them
Suddenly, the countless stars in the dark night came into her view, and her dim eyes were filled with the brilliance of the stars.
"So beautiful... This is the most beautiful starry sky I've ever seen..."
Michiko Ishihara murmured softly, tears streaming down her face. After gazing at the twinkling stars, she couldn't help but say again, "So many stars, but it seems like none of them belong to me."
"Who said that?" Qianzhu chuckled softly. "When you look up, this entire starry sky belongs to you."
"Is that so? I don't think I've ever seen the starry sky before. Were they hidden away before?" Michiko Ishihara looked up at the starry night with a fascination, like a child who had never seen the world.
"No, they're just being blocked by dark clouds."
Qianzhu said softly.
Michiko Ishihara stopped talking, and Ran Mouri and the others quietly looked up at the rare sight of the densely packed stars.
After a long while, Qianzhu suddenly spoke up.
May I come closer to you?
Michiko Ishihara paused, stared blankly at him, and nodded.
Qianzhu smiled, walked towards her, and then stopped two meters away from her. She reached out her hand to her with a smile, her voice as gentle as a spring breeze.
"Come over here, okay? If you stay there, the little bird will land on you soon."
Upon hearing this, Michiko Ishihara paused for a moment, then looked to her sides—a flock of small birds had somehow appeared, standing neatly in a row on the railing, with several of them tilting their heads and curiously staring at her.
"Huh?" Michiko Ishihara was stunned.
Qianzhu couldn't help but chuckle, then approached her, took her hand, and led her down from the railing.
As soon as Michiko Ishihara came down, several small birds flew over and landed where she had just been.
It seems quite possible that the bird will land on her.
Seeing this, Michiko Ishihara couldn't help but smile. "Speaking of which, these little birds are frequent visitors to this rooftop."
Ran Mouri and her two companions, who had been watching this, breathed a sigh of relief and then jogged over to surround Michiko Ishihara, looking at her with concern.
Seeing their genuine concern, Michiko Ishihara bowed apologetically to them, saying, "I'm sorry for making you worry."
"It's okay, I'm just glad you're alright." Sonoko waved her other hand dismissively, one hand on her hip.
“Yes, although we don’t know what happened to Michiko, you can tell us if anything happens to you, and we will do our best to help you.” Ran Mouri smiled, tilting her head, and reached out to hold Michiko Ishihara’s hand.
Michiko Ishihara's eyes welled up slightly, and a bright smile finally appeared on her face. "Thank you!"
It wasn't too late yet, so they took Michiko Ishihara out of the apartment building, found a place to sit down, ordered a drink, and chatted with her.
Upon learning from her what her parents had done, Ran and the others also became indignant.
"What are you planning to do next, Michiko?" After finishing her anger, Koran started to think about Michiko Ishihara's situation again.
Michiko Ishihara held her water glass with both hands, her voice soft, "I plan to stay away from them."
"That's a great idea. You can't stay with people like that. I feel so sorry for you, Michiko, that you've lived with these guys for over ten years." Sonoko frowned and kept talking.
