Chapter 452 Sparrows Ultimately Belong to the Blue Sky
Liu Qingyao couldn't help but rub her own hair. After glancing at the main body, she got up and got a warm, damp towel. She gently wiped his face, then picked him up and carried him back to his room.
He covered him with a blanket, then Liu Qingyao took out some sleep-inducing incense, put it in the incense burner, lit it, and then turned off the light and left.

After what happened that night, Ishihara Michiko took a week off. When she saw her again, she learned from her that Ishihara Michiko planned to move out of Beika City and live alone, so she would be transferring from Teitan High School to a high school near where Ishihara Michiko lived.
"It's so good that Michiko can leave them and live the life she wants." Ran Mouri clasped her hands together, her eyes shining, genuinely happy for Michiko Ishihara.
Michiko Ishihara smiled and nodded vigorously. "Yeah! Even if I move out of Beika City, I'll still come back to visit you guys often. And I won't miss my Taekwondo lessons, because I want to become as good as Ran!"
"Hahaha, that's great! I'm looking forward to that day. Then I'll have two amazing friends to protect me at all times!" Sonoko Suzuki laughed, teasing her half-jokingly and half-seriously.
Chizuru watched quietly from the side until they were about to finish their conversation. Then he handed the paper bag he was carrying to Ishihara Michiko, smiled and said gently, "This is a gift for you. May you always have a bright spring."
Michiko Ishihara took the paper bag in a daze, pursed her lips, and couldn't help but feel tears welling up in her eyes. She smiled brightly and said, "Thank you! Mr. Joki!"
"You're welcome."
After parting ways with them, Michiko Ishihara got into a car leaving Beika City, thus also leaving behind the dark cage that had imprisoned her for more than a decade.
Sparrows ultimately belong to the blue sky.
They should be free.
...
A few days after the Michiko Ishihara incident was completely over, Ran Mouri, the luckiest person, won a travel voucher again.
This trip took place on a small island.
Following the principle that free travel vouchers are a waste, Kogoro Mouri and his family, along with Chitake, boarded a ship early in the morning bound for a small island called Shirakumo Island.
After several hours of sailing, the ship arrived at Baiyun Island Port at 10:40 a.m.
The group went to the hotel first to drop off their luggage before exploring the small island with its friendly locals.
"I heard today is the White Cloud Festival on White Cloud Island. There will be a White Cloud Ceremony at White Cloud Square tonight. Let's go and see it together!" Ran Mouri held a tourist brochure for White Cloud Island in one hand and looked at Kogoro Mouri expectantly while clenching her other hand.
"White Cloud Ritual? What's that?" Kogoro Mouri asked with a puzzled look, his gaze falling on the brochure in Ran Mouri's hand. He then reached out and took it, reading through the description of the White Cloud Ritual.
The residents of Baiyun Island believe that rain is only possible when there are clouds, as this is an important part of the water resource cycle in nature, and they have a sense of awe for the ethereal clouds.
Because Baiyun Island is surrounded by the sea and has no freshwater lakes, most of the water they need every day comes from rainwater.
Every year on August 19th, they hold the Baiyun Ceremony to express their gratitude to the clouds.
