Chapter 569 Hand over the information

Chapter 569 Hand over the information

After glancing in the direction the three men in black had left, Conan followed the group towards the hotel they had booked.

On the other side, Asti, carrying a briefcase, followed behind Gin and Bertrand with a blank expression.

I'm so tired, so sleepy, and I just want to sleep.

Bertrand walked ahead, skipping and hopping, occasionally raising his hand to catch a snowflake, and even trying to tilt his head back and open his mouth to catch one, only to have Gin push his head back.

Sticking out her tongue slightly, Bertrand suddenly pointed to the shop next door, "That one looks so cute! Asti, go buy it for me!"

"good."

Asti agreed and turned to walk over.

When he took the things and turned around, Bertrand and Gin had disappeared, and only the crowd was moving around.

Behrfinger glanced down at the souvenir in his hand, which was carved from ordinary crystal but looked like a small ice sculpture, put it away, and walked away.

Bertrand and Gin, who were originally waiting for him, spotted a mission target midway through their journey. After exchanging a glance with Gin, they followed behind him.

As for Asti, Gin believed that she was nothing more than a controlled tool, so it didn't matter whether he waited for her or not.

Following their target to the outside of a mansion, Bertrand peeked out and then took out a few butterflies from his bag and released them into the mansion.

After looking at the image transmitted back by the butterfly on the monitor, Bertrand watched for a few seconds and then casually handed it to Gin next to him. He then took out a few more butterflies from his bag.

He lowered his head, disassembled the butterfly, and then reassembled it. Before long, he had a butterfly the size of his palm in his hand.

Just as he was about to show it to Gin, the other man spoke first, "Alright, let's go in."

"oh."

Bertrand winked at Gin as he walked toward the mansion, then jogged to catch up with him while putting the large butterfly into his bag.

Following the butterfly to the house where the target was, Bertrand opened a crack in the door and peered inside with one eye.

The amount of information visible is limited, but enough to see their target and the person they are talking to.

"Who goes there!?"

The people inside noticed that they were being watched and immediately turned to look in the direction where Bertrand was.

Even after being discovered, Bertrand wasn't intimidated. Instead, he cheerfully pushed open the door, waved brightly at them, and said, "Hello, you two!"

Who are you!?

The two middle-aged men who were talking were so startled by the two strangers who barged in that they slammed their hands on the table and were about to call for security when they were interrupted by Bertrand's innocent tone.

"Oh, you want to call someone over? No, they're all asleep and can't come. You can't wake them up!"

"Oh right, the surveillance cameras have been turned off too. They're sleeping with those old men now, so you can't call people through the cameras anymore."

Seeing them furtively reaching for the remote control, Bertrand turned around and kindly reminded them, lest they waste their energy and end up with nothing.

Bertrand tilted his head and grinned, but a hint of sinister intent lurked beneath his radiant face. "Alright, hand over all the information you have about the EOEL drug."

On the same day that Bertrand left safe house 39 to see the agave, he, Afra, and Scotland had left the Wilman Institute not long before.
