Chapter 650 also has a Plan B

Chapter 650 also has a Plan B

While he was pondering the situation with the FBI, Chianti and Cohen finally arrived.

With just a few words, they kindly provided information to Conan, who was hundreds of kilometers away.

"Alright, it's about time. Let's pack up and get ready to go." Vermouth, who had been sitting quietly in the back seat listening to them, suddenly spoke up, a smile playing on her lips.

Her voice caused Conan and Chianti to change their expressions simultaneously.

Because of Calvados, Chianti and Cohen became dissatisfied with her. Although Calvados did not die, it did not mean that there had not been dangerous moments before.

Therefore, Chianti got out of the car, ran to the Porsche, and knocked on the rear window to express his strong dissatisfaction, "Why is this woman here too!?"

But the next second, she slowly closed her mouth.

Because the silver-haired boy sat up, gave her a strange smile, and gestured for her to be quiet.

Chianti: "..."

She wasn't afraid of Gin or Vermouth, but she was somewhat intimidated by this little guy who was still several years away from adulthood.

Gin, who was sitting in the front, also spoke up calmly, telling her to go back to the car, explaining that Vermouth was there because of that person's orders.

Although Chianti was dissatisfied, she still scoffed and turned back to her car.

Once the decision was made, they each set off for their respective destinations.

Gin's car headed to the parking lot at Beika Park, while Chianti and Cohen went to a sniper position near Beika Park to prepare.

Kiel then followed the television station's vehicle to their interview destination.

As for Conan, he also deciphered the organization's code DJ for Tsuchimichi Koki and the code ADP for Beika Park through hints from others.

Inside Beika Park, Professor Agasa's car arrived before the organization began its mission.

Coincidentally, Vermouth, sitting in the Porsche, caught a glimpse of Conan getting out of the car, along with another... woman she didn't recognize.

She was subtly watching Conan, unaware that Bertrand, standing next to her, was also turning to look at Conan.

He stared intently at the woman until they ran away, then lowered his head slightly and silently scoffed.

"They're really obsessed with ending the story... I'll see how far they can go."

He murmured silently, a dark killing intent flashing in his light green eyes.

Through the camera hidden inside the brooch on Rena Mizunashi's chest, they watched Tsuchimon Yasunori's every move from inside the car.

Seeing that Rena Mizunashi had not yet led the target to the designated location, Bertrand raised an eyebrow slightly, leaned forward, and whispered to Gin.

"Kier, is it because you don't want this guy to die?"

His voice was very soft, but it still reached Rena Mizunashi's ears through the walkie-talkie in Gin's hand.

She didn't show it on her face, but she was inwardly surprised and suspicious.

Why is Bertrandez showing up too?!

Her heart sank slightly.

She certainly didn't want Tumen Kanghui to be killed, but if Bertrand made a move, her chances of protecting him would be even lower!

After all, under Gin's command, she didn't have much of a chance of preventing Tsuchimon Yasunori from being killed.

Through the chip, Bertrand noticed Rena Mizunashi's emotions and immediately let out a low chuckle.

"That's really interesting!"

Rena Mizunashi was thinking to herself, but on the surface she was still following the instructions to lead Yasuhiro Tsuchimon to sit down on the bench. Suddenly a passerby recognized Yasuhiro Tsuchimon and came over.

What was originally an interview turned into an idol handshake event.

Faced with this unexpected situation, Gin and Bertrand clicked their tongues in impatience.

"If it weren't so likely to cause a disturbance, I'd really like to just throw a bomb over there." Bertrand said with a smile, but his tone was quite sinister.

No rush.

Gin snorted and calmed the little madman down a bit.

Bertrand let out a yelp, slumped back in his chair, crossed his legs, and turned to look out the window.

"Kier, get the DJ to the designated spot."

Gin's voice prompted Rena Mizunashi to take action.

But just as Tumen Kanghui was about to sit down, the crowd suddenly opened their umbrellas, completely ruining their operation.

Bertrand raised an eyebrow slightly. "Rain? Then why isn't it raining here?"

He then sneered, "So someone is secretly trying to stop us, like... those annoying guys in the FBI."

Gin's gaze sharpened slightly as he glanced at the rain-swept weather and coldly ordered Chianticoen and Kiel to retreat.

"Let's retreat first. See you at the usual place in an hour."

"Oh? There's a Plan B too~" Bertrand raised his eyebrows slightly, looking somewhat expectant.

They stopped at an abandoned warehouse, where Gin explained the details of Plan B.

At this moment, Rena Mizunashi is changing clothes inside the car.

Bertrand sat cross-legged on the hood of the Porsche, humming a strange tune under his breath.

This time, they will carry out the killing plan at 4 PM on a bridge.

Cohen and Chianti were in charge of providing support, just in case. Vermouth rode her motorcycle and pretended to crash in front of Tumen Kanghui's car to lure him off, while Kiel followed behind Tumen Kanghui's car on his motorcycle to finish him off in time.

As Vodka spread out the map on the roof of the car, Bertrand got up and went over to look at the designated location they needed to go to.

He clicked his tongue slightly in response.

"Alright, everyone get ready to go."

Gin spoke to them as he helped Bertrand from his car.

Bertrand raised his chin slightly and nimbly climbed into the Porsche.

So, he's only in charge of cleaning up the mess.

Once they were all ready in their designated spots, Bertrand sat cross-legged in the car, tossing a small, transparent box containing butterflies in his hand.

He knew that things wouldn't work out with Kiel.

"Not ready yet, Gin?" Chianti's voice came through the walkie-talkie. "Men who keep people waiting are disliked."

"Pfft..."

This remark inexplicably tickled Bertrand's funny bone, and he quickly covered his mouth, but laughter still escaped.

Gin ignored it completely. "Don't worry, Chianti. Kiel hasn't contacted me yet, and DJ's car hasn't reached the other side of the bridge."

"Anything is fine, but why is there so much static on your end?"

Chianti's words caused the three people in the car to change their expressions slightly.

Gin quickly realized what was happening and turned to look at the bag that Gil used to carry his clothes on the back seat.

Bertrand glanced at it, took out his gloves, put them on, rummaged through the bag, and then found the shoe with the transmitter stuck to the sole.

After removing the transmitter and bugging device that were stuck together with chewing gum, he casually handed them to Gin, watching him destroy the transmitter and then wrap the bugging device up in layers.

Bertrand's lips curved into a slight smile.
