Chapter 686 I also want to hear it
"Conan is here too?" Chizuru asked, slightly surprised.
"Yeah, because Shinichi said he didn't want his house to be messed up, so he asked Conan to find it and take it to the agency, but we were already at the door."
Sonoko Suzuki pouted, seemingly somewhat dissatisfied, as she replied.
Qianzhu smiled helplessly upon hearing this, and then followed them into the house.
As Sera Masumi passed through a door, she heard a faint sound inside and assumed it was Conan. However, when she opened the door, she found Subaru Okiya brushing his teeth.
In that instant, it was as if time had stopped.
"Excuse me, Mr. Ang, where is Conan?" Ran Mouri asked apologetically as she walked to the door.
Subaru Okiya pointed in a direction, indicating that Conan was currently in the study.
"Thanks."
Before going to the study, Chizuru turned to look at Okiya Subaru, who didn't turn back. The two exchanged glances, then looked away before Chizuru followed him to the study.
After looking around the study, which was comparable to a library, Qianzhu looked up at the second floor of the study. Conan was moving a small box, and what they were looking for was probably in that small box.
Ran Mouri looked up at him and asked, "Conan, do you need any help?"
Hearing the sound, Conan looked down and saw Ran Mouri and the other two girls, as well as Chizuru who was there. He smiled and replied in a childlike tone, "No need, I'll find it soon. You guys go to the kitchen and have some black tea. I'll bring it to you when I find it."
"Okay, then we'll go to the kitchen and wait for you. See you later!"
"Um!"
Watching them go to the kitchen, Conan's lips twitched slightly, and he continued searching for the photo from ten years ago.
Holding a cup of black tea, Chizuru glanced at Sera Masumi, who seemed to be searching for something, took a sip of tea, and listened to the conversation between Suzuki Sonoko and Mouri Ran next to her.
Sonoko Suzuki: "Shinichi is definitely hiding something, isn't he? He didn't let you come to find the photos because he doesn't want you to discover anything."
Ran Mouri: "But what can he possibly be hiding..."
“Women,” Sera Masumi turned around, holding a rubber band in her hand, “look at this little hair tie that’s in the cupboard, and the unwashed cups and plates. There’s even a lipstick stain on one of the cups, and a long hair in the sink drain.”
She picked up the evidence one by one and gave examples.
Sonoko Suzuki reacted even more strongly than Ran Mouri. She jumped up and slammed her hand on the table. "What?! Shinichi! He actually brought another woman back behind Ran's back?!"
"Pfft..."
Chizuru, who was standing next to him, accidentally chuckled. Noticing that several girls were looking at him, he coughed lightly and stopped laughing, but the smile in his eyes was quite obvious. "But isn't it Mr. Okiya who's been staying here recently?"
His words immediately calmed down the furious Sonoko Suzuki, as if a bucket of cold water had been poured over her.
She blinked and slowly sat back down. "Yes, yes."
"That's true, Shinichi isn't home very often these days."
Ran Mouri, who had been so frightened that her heart almost stopped, came to her senses and secretly breathed a sigh of relief.
Qianzhu suppressed the smile on her lips and turned around, just in time to catch a glimpse of Conan approaching carrying a file folder.
Conan felt a chill run down his spine, a bad premonition that something bad was about to happen.
"I brought all the photos with me."
Conan glanced at Chizuru, who was clearly smiling, and blinked in confusion.
Sera Masumi walked over, took the file bag from his hand, patted his head, and said, "Thank you for your hard work."
Then they opened the file folder, took out the photos, and compared them with the photos they had taken today.
The two "death" characters written in blood cannot be said to be completely unrelated; they are simply identical.
Qianzhu glanced at it and casually guessed, "Could this be a serial murder case?"
Sera Masumi continued, "I did some research online before, and there's been no information released about the case from ten years ago, so it's likely that the perpetrator is the same person."
"But I heard from Shinichi that ten years ago his father said that the person who wrote this word would never appear again."
After carefully comparing the two, Conan remembered what his father had said ten years ago after he withdrew from the case, and then looked up at Chizuru and the others.
"So this is just a coincidence?" Qianzhu spoke as he typed on his phone, his head slightly lowered as he looked at it. His voice was gentle, but his tone was simply stating the facts. "The person who died ten years ago died in an accident, while the person who died today died because of liver problems and continued to drink heavily, right? This word 'death' is more like it was stamped than written."
He looked up and everyone was looking at him.
Sera Masumi paused for a moment, then asked, "How do you know that the person we met today died from liver problems? And that the case ten years ago was an accident?"
Qianzhu smiled slightly, then pointed to the file folder on the table next to her, "Someone just helped me look into it. As for the case from ten years ago, I took a look at the details of the case."
Upon hearing this, Sera Masumi reached out and picked up the file to read it.
While they were discussing the case, Subaru Okiya also came over and said a few words.
Conan quickly added a casual tone, "Brother Ang is a Sherlock Holmes fan and really enjoys deduction."
"Why don't you call the police to ask for more details?" Qianzhu suggested with a smile, turning off her phone screen.
"That's true. Maybe we can call Officer Takagi. He should be able to tell us something."
Conan nodded in agreement.
So Ran Mouri called Wataru Takagi, only to be told that it wasn't a murder case, but a theft case.
While they were racking their brains trying to figure it out, Shinichi Kudo was suddenly pushed forward, and Sera Masumi immediately suggested calling Shinichi Kudo to hear his reasoning.
Glancing at Conan, who was clearly flustered, Chizuru casually pressed down on his shoulder.
Just as Ran Mouri was about to take out her phone to call Shinichi, Conan was pinned down by the shoulder and couldn't move.
He looked up at Qianzhu, his eyes wide with a silent question.
Qianzhu glanced down at him, then smiled and said, "I'd also like to hear Shinichi's opinion on this matter."
Conan's heart was pounding, completely oblivious to the smile in Chizuru's eyes.
Before Ran Mouri made the call, Subaru Okiya asked her to pass on a message to Shinichi Kudo.
"He's like a ninja, like Kirigakure Saizo."
