Chapter 72 Like a Family of Three
Looking back at Conan who had followed, Qianzhu smiled and said, "Conan, why are you so slow?"
Conan glanced at Ran's hand resting on Chizuru's arm, scratched the back of his head, and squeezed between them with a smile. "Because I chatted with Professor Agasa for a bit~"
Qianzhu glanced at him but didn't point out his terrible acting. Instead, she looked up at Xiaolan with a smile and asked, "Where should we go for a stroll first?"
Xiaolan thought for a moment after hearing this, "Hmm... how about we go check out the shopping street? I think there should be a lot of Christmas-related items today."
"Hmm, that's a good idea. Let's go there first," Qianzhu agreed with a smile.
"I want to go too! I want to go too!" Conan said coquettishly, skipping and hopping as he grabbed Ran's hand.
Xiaolan said helplessly, "I didn't say I wouldn't take you."
As we walked along the commercial street, the crowds on the road noticeably increased.
To prevent them from getting separated, the three of them held hands and walked together, with Conan in the middle.
"It's so lively!" Xiaolan exclaimed, looking around.
Qianzhu nodded, and then a somewhat familiar voice rang in her ears.
"Xiao Lan!!"
Hearing someone calling her, Xiaolan turned her head and saw a short-haired girl wearing a headband waving at her.
"Yuanzi!" Xiaolan's eyes lit up when she saw her best friend.
Sonoko jogged over, intending to start a conversation with Ran, when she was caught off guard by Chizuru's presence. She suddenly exclaimed "Ah!", covered her mouth with her fingers, blushed, and stared intently at Chizuru with bright, sparkling eyes.
Seeing her expression, Xiaolan knew she was being infatuated again, and then said, "Yuanzi, this is Qianzhu, whom I mentioned to you."
"Qianzhu, this is the garden."
Chizuru smiled, her amber eyes sparkling with starlight. "Hello, Sonoko-san. Nice to meet you. My name is Chino Chizuru."
Sonoko covered her face with her hands, looking shy. "Hello, I'm Suzuki Sonoko, you can just call me Sonoko."
Qianzhu simply smiled at this.
After all, not everyone can go one-on-one with Makoto Kyogoku.
Although it will be some time before this character makes his appearance.
"Huh? I thought you weren't here, you little brat." Sonoko looked down at Conan with her half-moon eyes, her face full of disgust.

"Honestly..." Xiaolan glared at her, "But Sonoko, why are you here all alone?"
"Haha~ After Rex's live concert, I can celebrate with them thanks to my dad's connections! I can see Tatsuya, Ran, and Chizuru in person, you guys come too!" Sonoko raised her hand and gave a thumbs up.
"Huh? Is that the rock band that's been all the rage lately? I can't believe I got to meet them! That's amazing!" Xiaolan exclaimed with delight.
Conan, being led by Qianzhu, stared with dead fish eyes and mentally complained.
She truly lives up to her reputation as the daughter of the Suzuki Group.
