He then walked inside while calling out Shinichi's name.
Suddenly, the lights went out.

"Shinichi?" Although she couldn't see him clearly, Ran instinctively knew it was him.
“It’s me,” Shinichi replied softly.
"Shinichi..." Ran's voice gradually became choked with sobs.
"Idiot, why are you crying? Aren't you happy to see me?" Shinichi seemed to smile slightly.
"Nonsense! I didn't cry, and why would I cry when I see a jerk like you!"
Tears were already welling up, but the proud Xiaolan was still stubbornly refusing to admit it.
