Chapter 838 The Little Bear Has Lost Its Way
Behefinger floated back to Ran and the others, watching their investigation progress from a distance.
Fukushima Matsuko was indeed quite capable. In the early stages, she effectively kept all the detectives' attention focused on the remaining men and women, and they hardly suspected her at all.
Furthermore, because she erased some key clues, their progress was further hampered.
The case investigation has stalled.
It was already 11:55 p.m., almost midnight.
Behrfinger slumped in his chair, looking utterly hopeless.
Sure enough, these detectives don't need to eat or even sleep while solving cases.
Fortunately, he took a nap at noon.
Behrfinger stood up, slipped away, and wandered around the cruise ship.
When he returned, Fukushima Matsuko was no longer there.
Barring any unforeseen circumstances, nothing unexpected is expected for the time being.
Two o'clock in the morning.
Behringer felt numb, and then Amuro Tooru pushed her back to her room.
However, as soon as he returned to his room, someone knocked on the door.
When he opened the door, he didn't see anyone outside, but he could see a letter left on the ground.
After picking up the letter, Behringer went back into his room, closed the door, and then opened it to take a look.
Come to the small deck at midnight the day after tomorrow.
There's only this one sentence inside.
Behfinger blinked, then put it away.
Upon waking up, he learned from Amuro Tooru that the real culprit was Fukushima Matsuko, but she was nowhere to be found, and the police had searched all night without success.
Bechfenger looked surprised, but he actually knew where Fukushima Matsuko was.
But he couldn't possibly tell.
"I wonder if her target group includes the remaining few?" Behringer took a bite of his bun.
Amuro Tooru shook his head. "I don't know, but the remaining few are already under police guard and protection."
Behrfinger nodded and continued munching on the bun in his hand.
Matsuko Fukushima's goals were not limited to just her few 'friends'.
She appears to be just a timid girl, but in reality, she has an antisocial personality disorder.
Her target was the entire cruise ship.
Behrfinger clicked his tongue inwardly.
When the time mentioned in the letter arrived, Bechfinger quietly slipped out and went to the small deck.
Matsuko Fukushima stood with her back to him by the railing. Hearing footsteps, she turned around, looking somewhat reserved.
When she saw Behrfinger appear, her expression became even more tense.
Behrfinger blinked. "What's wrong?"
Matsuko Fukushima opened her mouth, then lowered her head and whispered, "I asked you out because I wanted to tell you something..."
"What is it?" Behringer asked curiously.
Fukushima Matsuko remained silent for a short while.
"I will detonate the bomb on this cruise ship in ninety minutes. I have placed an escape boat under the ship, and you can leave from there during this time."
Bechfinger paused, tilted his head, and asked, full of confusion, "Why are you telling me this?"
There's no reason why...
After saying that, Matsuko Fukushima quickly walked away.
Behrfinger stood there for a while before turning and leaving.
He returned to his room, stayed on the bed for a while, and then slowly got up and went to wake up Morofushi Kagemitsu and Amuro Tooru.
"Wake up!!"
Neither of them were in a deep sleep; they were almost immediately awakened by his shaking.
They sat up and stopped Behringer from shaking their hands again.
"What's wrong? Why are you in such a hurry? What happened?"
Amuro Tooru asked questions while pulling his coat over his shoulders.
Bechfenger pondered for a moment, "Well, Fukushima Matsuko just told me that she hid a bomb on the ship and that it would detonate in ninety minutes, and now it seems that there are less than ninety minutes left."
Amuro Toru, Zhufu Jingguang:! ! !
Without even flinching, they immediately rolled out of bed, not forgetting to ask Behringer.
Why did she tell you this?
Behrfinger shrugged, indicating that he didn't understand either. "Perhaps it's because... I did her a small favor?"
"No matter what, let's find the police and the cruise ship captain first. Behfinger, you go find Mr. Maoli and the others and tell them about this."
Amuro Tooru made a quick decision, and then the three of them split up to carry out their respective tasks.
However, before leaving the room, something seemed to fall off Behfinger without him noticing.
He ran over and woke up Conan and the others, telling them in an extremely serious tone that a bomb had been planted on the ship.
They listened and believed it almost immediately.
At that moment, the captain's voice came over the loudspeaker, instructing everyone to leave their rooms and come to the deck in an orderly manner.
Fortunately, most people were still awake at this time, and several hundred people came to the large deck full of doubt.
Because the police were also helping to maintain order, the actions of the remaining few people were temporarily ignored.
Avoiding everyone's attention, Fukushima Matsuko appeared behind those people and knocked them unconscious before they could react.
Small body, big energy!
She easily transported them to a cold storage warehouse where no one would be at that moment.
She didn't care whether other people died, but the people who killed her family and plunged her life into despair had to die.
Matsuko Fukushima remained silent for an unknown amount of time before raising her hand to adjust the earphones on her ears and hearing sounds from the cruise ship.
She didn't care.
Fukushima Matsuko glanced at the unconscious men and women, tightened her grip on the detonator, and then loosened it slightly.
"Let's wait until that person leaves..."
She sat down right there, not caring that the cold would freeze her.
About half an hour later, she heard them retreating.
Just as Behringer boarded the lifeboat with Amuro and the others, his expression suddenly changed, and he ran back onto the boat.
"Behrfinger! Where are you going?"
Amuro Tooru told Morofushi Kagemitsu to continue waiting there, while he himself disembarked from the lifeboat and caught up with Behffinger.
"Behrfinger, what's wrong?"
While frantically searching along the road, Behringer muttered to himself, "I don't think I've lost my teddy bear somewhere!"
He searched carefully the whole way, not even missing under the table.
"Is it possible that it fell in the room?"
Amuro Tooru also helped search, and after thinking for a moment, he made a guess.
"That's possible! I'll run back and check. You look for it here for me!"
Upon hearing this, Behringer immediately ran back to his room as if his feet were greased.
