Chapter 889 Did they say something to you?

Chapter 889 Did they say something to you?

Gaius smiled slightly, raised his hand and gently clapped his hands, calling out, "311."

"Ah...yes."

Upon hearing the sound, number 311 instantly turned and jogged over to him, holding a wine bottle in his hand and gazing longingly at Gaius.

Gaius smiled at him, his face looking very kind. He waved to 311, signaling him to follow Hoshino Tsukasa.

311 nodded, placed the bottle on the table beside him, and followed closely behind Hoshino Tsukasa.

Some people in the hall watched them leave.

As soon as the two figures disappeared, a group of red-haired Death members dressed as waiters filed in, carrying exquisite dishes and respectfully placing them on the table.

The orchestra, which was already in place, began to play soothing and gentle music.

If it weren't for the strange behavior of the attendees, this should have been a relaxed banquet.

Gaius smiled and gestured for us to enjoy our dinner.

Conan and his friends looked on with suspicion and didn't dare to actually eat.

Bertrand picked up a glass of grape juice, sniffed it, took a sip, smacked his lips, and said, "Mmm, delicious."

Gin: "......"

Gaius chuckled and replied, "I'm glad you like it."

Bertrand chuckled, nudged Gin, and pointed to the sweet and sour dish further away, "Gin-chan, I want to eat that."

Seeker blinked, leaned closer to Bertrand and whispered in his ear, "Xiao Ye, are you okay?"

Bertrand shook his head slightly, while simultaneously raising both index fingers and waving them forward. "Absolutely no problem!"

Relieved, Seeker nudged the little boy's head and took a sip of his own grape juice.

Gaius held a glass of red wine and raised it towards Qianzhu and the others, saying, "Please rest assured, we will not tamper with the food."

Qianzhu looked up slightly and met his gaze, then looked away before focusing on the food on the table. A moment later, she used the serving chopsticks to pick up a piece of shrimp tempura for herself.

“Qianzhu…” Conan was a little worried.

"It's nothing," Qianzhu said softly, glancing at Bertrand and the others across from her.

Conan also looked in that direction.

The members of the Black Organization were leisurely eating at that moment.

"......"

"Eat something, after all, we haven't had dinner yet." Kuno Naya Tsuki chimed in, picked up a bowl and ladled out a bowl of mushroom and tofu soup. She reached out and pinched Kita Ayane's cheek, scooped up a spoonful of soup, blew on it to cool it down, and then held it to his lips. She then placed a piece of eel sushi on his plate. "Here, open your mouth."

Liu Qingyao blinked, then choked with emotion, looking at the two of them with her half-moon eyes: "Are you really not a couple?"

The two paused, turning to look at Liu Qingyao in unison. Their actions spoke volumes without words, clearly indicating their denial.

Liu Qingyao shrugged. "Okay, okay, you two aren't a couple, but you're more like a married couple than a married couple."

Upon hearing this, Kuno Naya raised an eyebrow, wiped Kita Aya Nego's mouth with a tissue, and then teased Liu Qingyao in a mischievous tone, "Oh, or should I feed you too?"

Liu Qingyao slightly widened her eyes and moved her body back. "No, I don't need it. I'll politely decline your offer!"

"Pfft..."

Qianzhu and Ran Mouri couldn't help but chuckle, and the others also had a slight smile on their lips.

Across from him, Bertrand raised an eyebrow and whispered something to Gin and Sext:

"She looks like Vermouth, like a witch or something..."

Sekter frowned. "This sudden, unserious flirting...it does seem quite like it."

Bertrand shrugged, then leaned closer to Gin, "Gin-chan, I want to eat that too."

After Liu Qingyao's teasing, the atmosphere became much more relaxed.

The scene finally started to resemble a banquet.

Although the people from all three camps were just chatting amongst themselves without interfering with each other.

Perhaps it was intentional, but after everyone had finished eating and put down their chopsticks, Hoshino Tsukasa and 311, who had left earlier, returned.

It's unclear what happened, but perhaps she was scolded. 311 had her head slightly lowered, looking quite unhappy.

Gaius's smile was faint. He clapped his hands lightly, and then some members came over and cleared away the plates.

The orchestra stopped playing and retreated with their instruments.

The hall suddenly became much quieter.

All eyes turned to Gaius.

"Is it time to get down to business?"

Gaius smiled slightly at everyone and said, "No rush. It's better to digest first after eating. The night sky is quite nice tonight."

After saying that, he chuckled softly, and Hoshino Tsukasa stepped forward and pushed him away.

"It's a banquet, so it's better to keep things relaxed, everyone. Let's meet back in the lobby in half an hour."

Gaius's smiling voice reached everyone's ears.

The hall remained silent for a few seconds until they had completely left.

"Um, please follow me, everyone. I'll take you to the deck."

Number 311 spoke slowly, standing at the entrance of the hall looking at everyone. After they all stood up, he turned around and led them to the deck.

It's spring now, but the weather is still a bit chilly, and the wind on the sea is even more biting.

However, the night sky is indeed quite nice tonight.

The clouds and mist were sparse, the stars were scattered, and occasionally a few seagulls flew past the ship and fell into the sea, causing ripples to spread across the calm water.

The spacious deck still clearly divided the two camps.

Qianzhu tilted his head slightly, looking thoughtfully at 311, who was a little distance away and seemed a bit reserved. After thinking for a moment, he stepped towards him.

Although most people didn't pay attention to him, his actions still drew their attention.

Besides, at times like this, probably few people are really in the mood to appreciate the scenery.

Suddenly, a shadow appeared in front of 311. He looked up in confusion and winked at Qianzhu. "Excuse me, is there anything I can help you with?"

Qianzhu smiled gently at him, then leaned against the railing beside her. "Are you alright?"

311 paused for a moment, then slowly shook her head. "I...I'm fine."

"Did they say something to you?" Qianzhu asked with a smile.

311 opened her mouth slightly, but in the end, she just silently lowered her head.

"No, no."

Qianzhu tilted her head slightly, smiled gently, and reached out to rub his head. "Is that so?"

311's shoulders trembled slightly. Qianzhu was puzzled for a moment, then bent down slightly to look at his face, only to see large tears dripping down his face.

Qianzhu was stunned for a moment, then sighed helplessly and took out a handkerchief to wipe away his tears.

Seeing this, Bertrand, who was leaning against Seeker, crossed his arms and clicked his tongue softly.

"She looks even more like him when she cries."

"How annoying."

He pursed his lips.

"What?" Seeker asked, puzzled, glancing curiously at Number 311. "What does it look like?"

The only time he saw Asti without his cloak was in Bertrand's bed, but Bertrand had covered him with a blanket at that time, so Seeker didn't really know what Asti looked like, and naturally didn't know that 311 looked exactly like Asti.
