Author's Closing Remarks

It's finished...

It should have ended a long time ago, but the revival tournament was just too difficult, and after reviving, we still had to find Rama's remains, which delayed things for so long...

Just kidding.

Judging from its length, it's clear that it should have ended a long time ago.

But so much has happened during this period. I won't say I'm playing the victim, but that's exactly why I've been delayed time and time again.

Many people in the group ask this every day, or say things like, "Even just sending an outline before disappearing would be great..."

Actually, I've had such shameful thoughts, and even considered just being reborn through the Impure World Reincarnation.

But in the end, I decided to finish writing it no matter what. Things should have a beginning and an end, and there should always be a conclusion, even if it's a bad ending... It really is a bad ending. I don't know how many plot holes were left unfilled, sob sob.

Don't say you're out of rice and need popcorn. No matter how glorious your past was, so much time has passed, where would you find rice to popcorn with...

Why did it take so long? Actually, it's because my skills aren't up to par. I had a grand plan in mind, but as soon as I started the second major chapter, I knew it would fall apart... My grades got worse, and I became rotten. And when I became rotten, my grades got even worse... It was an inescapable vicious cycle.

This also taught me that some things are really harder than I imagined. At least on the path of online writing, I still have a lot to learn.

Temporary setbacks cannot defeat me; all I can do is identify and address my shortcomings and fight with renewed vigor.

However, I owe everyone a belated apology. I wish all my readers good luck and thank you for your support of this book.

That's all.

Oh, you didn't mention the new book, did you?

The idea of a new book is quite abstract. I've been brainstorming for a long time but I'm still not satisfied with it. I even secretly started a new book before, but it got banned... which has left me with no good ideas for a while.

I originally wanted to write another villain story, letting Mr. Xu live a second life, but after writing for a while, I found that it was too homogeneous and I couldn't stand it no matter how I looked at it.

So I'm actually quite confused right now... but it shouldn't bother me for too long. I'll let you know here and in the group when the time comes.

I am deeply grateful to the people of this land for their tolerance in allowing me to avoid making money that would cause harm to humanity.
