Chapter 42 All-Elemental Ability Users
For Ling Ran, a man's psychological attack was like the difference between a drop of water falling into the ocean.
The mental attack vanished without you even having to think about it.
However, a counterattack is still necessary.
She raised her sword to block the supernatural power that followed the mental attack. Then, with a slight thought, she saw the man standing in front of her suddenly open his eyes wide, and then a trickle of blood spilled from the corner of his mouth. Immediately afterwards, his shocked and terrified gaze gradually turned into a dazed look.
"Hehehe, sister, I'm hungry, I need food."
"Oh no! It's a psychological attack!" The two women standing closest to the man noticed his unusual behavior immediately. They exchanged a glance: "Sister, let's go!"
Of the six, the most powerful was this level three psychic. Not only was he the highest level, but because he was a psychic, he could attack people invisibly.
They had collaborated several times before, and there were some people with stronger abilities than them, but they were always successful in their mental attacks and sneak attacks, never failing.
"Trying to run? You'll have to ask my sword first!"
Ling Ran flung the sword out, its blade gleaming with a cold light as it slashed lightly through the air, leaving a silver trail.
Several bright red bloodstains were also left behind.
Pei Xiu stared in shock at the scene before him.
A slender, long sword, as if carried by a gust of wind, gently brushed against the necks of those men. Immediately, their blood vessels burst, and six streaks of blood spurted into the air, yet the sword itself remained untouched by a single drop of blood.
In the blink of an eye, the six people opened their eyes wide, as if they had never expected that they would be gone without even a chance to resist.
In their final moments, they seemed to hear the man's low voice: "I told you, this sword of mine is meant to slay idiots. How can it not be effective if it's drawn but not used?"
Zhou Hang, carrying his bag, happened to witness this scene as he walked over: "Wow! Sister is so cool."
The sword appeared out of thin air and disappeared into thin air.
Ling Ran acted as if nothing had happened and said to Zhou Hang, "Did you get the stuff? Let's go back then."
Pei Xiu and Zhou Hang got into the car in a daze, and it wasn't until the car had driven several dozen meters away that they came to their senses.
"Sis! You're a triple ability user—psychic, spatial, and flight-type? The most powerful expert in the base only has two abilities!"
"Aren't you afraid of me?" Ling Ran raised an eyebrow. She looked at Pei Xiu just now and seemed frightened. "I just killed six people."
Although in the post-apocalyptic world, murder is no longer illegal, and the number of murderers has increased dramatically, there are still some people who have a moral bottom line and cannot accept killing.
Pei Xiu shook his head: "Why should I be afraid of my sister? If it weren't for her ability, we would be the ones dying today."
Those people were clearly not good people; their movements were practiced, and countless people had been harmed by them. Their deaths were a contribution to the end times.
This surprised Ling Ran somewhat. She killed someone in front of Pei Xiu today to test him.
As for the results of the test, they were acceptable.
Ling Ran isn't a good person, but she's extremely protective of her own. Once someone is on her side, she'll always side with them in front of outsiders, regardless of whether they're right or wrong.
As for teaching her a lesson, if she really needs to be taught a lesson, she will do it herself. It's not up to outsiders to interfere!
After finishing his sentence, Pei Xiu immediately asked, "Sister, are you really a three-elemental ability user?"
"No."
"Are you from the fourth department?"
"I should be an all-elemental ability user."
"All types?" Pei Xiu and Zhou Hang's eyes widened. "You mean you have all kinds of superpowers?"
"Um."
The two of them stared blankly for a long time, like startled huskies.
Only when the car arrived in front of the villa did the driver, who had been trembling all the way, dare to speak: "We're here."
He's just an ordinary person. He just heard so much inside information. Won't he be silenced?
