Chapter 72 Léon: The Professional (5) (3/5)

It seems that the red thread of fate has been tied.

Jiang Heng's attitude towards Lin Su was different from his attitude towards Lu Yan. His eyes were filled with reluctance to part: "I didn't expect that we would be separated again after meeting for the second time."

"Parting is the beginning of a better reunion. I'll write to you often to share my latest experiences," Lin Su said, smiling and shaking his hand. "Don't be sad, my friend. Even if we're in different places, our friendship will last forever."

Jiang Heng smiled and nodded, excitedly saying, "Friends, friendship lasts forever."

Lu Yan: “…”

Now it is no longer a question of whether Tang can do it, but if he kills Jiang Heng's friend, he might really break up with him.

But until now, he still couldn't confirm how sincere Lin Su was to Tang.

"The boss lost this round." Zong said while holding a toothpick in his mouth.

The aircraft flew away. Lu Yan glanced at Zong, who silently lowered his head and kept a low profile.

This cannot be blamed on him. Lin Su, that shrewd man, must have seen through the boss's clues, otherwise Mr. Jiang would not be so devoted to being his friend.

The space on the aircraft was not small, but it was clearly visible at a glance. Tang had nowhere to hide, so he could only sit next to Lin Su with his eyes half closed and remain alert.

Until a sweet smell came to his nose, he opened his eyes, looked at Lin Su holding the bowl to his lips and asked, "What are you doing?"

"Yangzhi Ganlu, eat some sweets to replenish your energy." Seeing him open his eyes, Lin Su placed the small bowl in his hand and said, "This way you can better protect me."

Tang lowered his eyes to look at the small bowl, picked up the spoon and was about to drink it all, but then he heard someone say beside him: "Ginseng fruit."

Tang paused for a moment, picked up the spoon and ate silently.

The sweet and cool taste spreads in the mouth, and it seems a bit of a pity to swallow it in one gulp.

The people next to them naturally heard their conversation, but they looked confused.

Abu asked in a low voice: "What is the boss talking about?"

Cha Wei sat in the specially widened seat and closed his eyes to rest: "I don't know."

"Don't you want to know? Go and ask." Abu urged.

Cha Wei didn't move: "I don't want to."

Abu: “…”

Damn, they are not the same kind of people.

This kid has none of the curiosity that a normal person should have.

Tang finished eating this silently and continued to be vigilant. Although the aircraft was full of Lin Su's men, who knew if there was a traitor among his men? Therefore, he must not relax when he should be vigilant to avoid making the same mistake as last time. It is easy to repay debts owed to others, but it is extremely difficult to repay debts owed to Lin Su.

Tang remained on guard the entire time, and was even frightened when Abu approached him. He always felt that this guy had murderous intent when he looked at everyone, and only their boss was a real warrior.

"Isn't it boring to just sit like this?" It was rare for Lin Su to see someone who kept the same posture for a long time without moving, as if nothing was wrong.

Tang replied, "Not boring."

He seemed to be sitting upright, but in fact he was observing every move in the aircraft, especially Lin Su himself.

The man was also sitting quietly, but compared to his leisurely appearance, he always seemed very busy, either handling affairs or reading. Even such a thick thread-bound book, he could calm down and read it page by page, and sometimes he would even write notes.

When it comes to concentration, I am not inferior to myself.

"I'm bored." Lin Su said, half supporting his head.

"Hey, boss, I'm bored, playing mahjong." Abu was also bored to the point of panicking. There were no beauties to look at, and no entertainment. He might as well be killed than to let him read. "Want to play a few games? It's good to kill some time."

Tang had only seen that kind of thing in gambling situations. That kind of smoky and foul thing didn't quite fit in with Lin Su's temperament. He thought that kind of person wouldn't touch it.

But the next moment Lin Su smiled and said, "Okay, go get ready."

Tang: “…”

"The boss is awesome." Abu went there excitedly.

Soon the mahjong table was set up. Being able to see this kind of thing at any time on the aircraft shows that it was prepared early in the morning.

Lin Su took off his coat, rolled up his sleeves, and even put the cufflinks into his pockets. He looked like he was really planning to play mahjong.

Tang looked at him, feeling somewhat puzzled, when Lin Su dragged him to sit in one of the seats: "We are short of one, fill in the leg."

"I can't," Tang said.

He had never touched anything like this before.

"I'll teach you. The rules are very simple. Newbies often win." Lin Su circled around from behind, holding up the small cubes and explaining the rules. "Two identical ones are checkmates... You can intercept the cards if you touch them midway, and you can't take any cards if you don't get a gold at the end..."

He spoke slowly and steadily, and Tang listened attentively, only occasionally moving uncomfortably when his breath brushed past his ears.

"Do you understand?" Lin Su asked with a smile after he finished speaking.

Tang nodded: "I understand."

"I dragged you into this game. If you lose, the money is mine." Lin Su stood up from behind Tang and sat across from him. "Don't be nervous."

Abu should have cheered. A veteran like him facing a novice would probably lose miserably. However, he felt as if he had eaten a mouthful of dog food. "Boss, even if you pay, we won't show mercy."

"Yeah." Lin Su sat down and said, "You're welcome."

When the fun started, the three of them drew the cards very quickly, except for Tang who was a little slow. However, since he was a novice, no one would say anything. Instead, even Cha Wei would give him some pointers.

"Pong." Lin Su played cards very quickly. He had an indescribable sense of leisure when doing this, but he still felt different from Abu and the others.

Lin Su put down his cards. Tang looked at his own and said, "Kong."

"The cards are good. Gangs are also worth money. Come on, come on, pick a card from the back." Abu was very attentive. When he was helping to pick the cards, Tang grabbed his wrist and said, "You want to exchange my cards?"

Abu tutted his words, "Are your eyes so sharp? Okay, okay, here you go."

"You forgot what he does." Lin Su laughed, then said to Tang, who was staring at Abu, "According to the rules of the card game, cheating that is not caught does not count."

Abu whistled and laughed, "Boss, you're on to something. Playing cards is all about the excitement and the heartbeat."

"It's done." Tang said calmly.

"Done?!" Abu was stunned halfway through his words, "So fast?" He leaned over to take a look, but Tang blocked his view with one hand and held a dagger to his neck with the other.

"Tang, once it's done, you can show it to others." Lin Su found his actions a little funny.

Tang put away the dagger, and Abu breathed a sigh of relief: "Okay, this is really exciting."
