Chapter 9 The Vicious Male Lead Has a Bit of Sweetness (9) (2/3)

Sheng Hong's face turned pale. He always prided himself on his good character, but now he was being scolded and had no way to refute.

Lin Su released his arm, gently adjusted his collar, and prepared to leave. Then, as if remembering something, he turned around and said, "If you really regard Lin Yan as your brother, please uphold your last bit of conscience and stay away from him, okay?"

The closing car door seemed to hit Sheng Hong on the other side of his face. He had never felt so embarrassed and awkward, but he had no way to refute Lin Su's words.

He wanted Lin Jian to be his younger brother again, but he never considered his feelings. If he didn't love someone, he would reject them completely. His self-proclaimed balance and indecision hurt two people at the same time.

When Sheng Hong returned, Bai Xiuran had already left. The office was empty. Before he could call, Bai Xiuran had already sent a text message: "Sheng Hong, can we all calm down for a moment?"

The hand holding the phone turned pale. Sheng Hong hesitated for a long time and sent a single word: "OK."

He really needs to calm down.

While in the moving car, Lin Jian would steal a glance at Lin Su from time to time. The man's driving posture was quite handsome, unlike his previous pretentious posture when racing. Instead, he looked very handsome just sitting there upright.

He didn’t hear clearly what Lin Su said outside the car just now, but the way he said it left Sheng Hong speechless was really... indescribable.

He felt a little better, but until now he didn't dare to ask what Lin Su had said to Sheng Hong.

"Fasten your seat belt," Lin Su naturally noticed his gaze, but I wouldn't move unless the enemy did. Anyway, he wasn't the one who was curious.

"What era is this? Still wearing a safety belt...ah!" Lin Jian's sudden speed of overtaking nearly caused him to crash into the car in front. He sat up straight with his hands propped up, looking at Lin Su beside him, gritted his teeth, "Did you do this on purpose?"

He just felt a little bit protected by his elder brother, but before he could savor it, it was gone.

"For your safety," Lin Su said in a deep voice.

Lin Jian reluctantly fastened his seatbelt, like a cat on a leash, his whole body filled with reluctance. "What did you just say to Brother Hong?"

This is the top priority at the moment.

"You said you don't need a brother," Lin Su looked straight ahead with a flat tone.

"What? Why not?" Lin Jian retorted subconsciously.

The car stopped at a red light. Lin Lang was jolted by the sudden brakes and had just sat down when a big hand came over his head. The dry and warm touch rubbed him like petting a cat. The fingers seemed to accidentally brush his earlobe. Lin Lang's heart beat violently at that touch. The man's gaze was extremely deep even through the glasses. But before Lin Lang could savor anything, the hand and the gaze were both retracted.

Lin Su said: "Having me is enough."

Lin Jian's heartbeat, which had been about to subside, began to beat violently again, and his eardrums seemed to be vibrating. "W-What do you mean?"

He clearly didn't drink, but he started stuttering for no apparent reason.

"Think for yourself," Lin Su did not explain to him.
