Chapter 133 Summoning

The following day, as the first rays of dawn illuminated Alex Academy, the entire campus was immersed in an unprecedented tension and anticipation. On the playground, Hope and a group of newly acquainted friends were enthusiastically practicing basic combat skills, encouraging each other, and each fall was accompanied by an even more determined rise.

"Hope, you've improved so fast! You were stumbling around yesterday, but you're keeping up today!" A teammate with a hearty laugh patted Hope on the back, looking incredulous.

Hope wiped the sweat from her brow, a confident smile playing on her lips: "Really? I think when you have a direction in your mind, your body naturally follows."

Not far away, Amy and her team successfully set up a complex magic circle, drawing gasps of amazement from the surrounding students. One of the onlookers tugged at the sleeve of the person next to him and whispered, "I always thought magic was just something in books, but now it seems so cool! I want to learn it too."

In the afternoon, a simulated battle was underway in the academy's arena. The Night Watchman stood on the sidelines, intently observing each student's tactical application and teamwork. A girl skillfully used the environment for cover, successfully flanking her opponent and delivering a decisive blow, drawing thunderous applause from the entire arena. The Night Watchman nodded in satisfaction and said to the teaching assistant beside him, "See that? That's the power of teamwork. Everyone is a crucial link; none can be missing."

In the evening, Leah's meditation group completed their day's training by the lake. The students' faces were serene, and a subtle transformation was evident in their eyes. An elderly professor passing by stopped, gazing at this harmonious scene, and gently shook his head: "Times have truly changed. These young minds are more resilient and hopeful than we were back then."

Night fell once more over Alex Academy, the library still brightly lit. Alex sat around a large table, surrounded by several eager students discussing how to apply ancient wisdom to modern magical practice. Suddenly, one student excitedly proposed a bold idea. Alex's eyes lit up, and he praised, "Excellent! A willingness to innovate is our most valuable asset."

Just as a positive and uplifting atmosphere filled the academy, the ragged traveler quietly appeared before Alex, his eyes gleaming with an indomitable light: "I have heard your call, and I want to be a part of the change."

Alex scrutinized him, a hint of approval flashing in his eyes: "Welcome. No matter where you come from, as long as you have light in your heart, there is a place for you here."

The next morning, Alex gathered all the students in the square and announced some important news: "We have received a mysterious map, said to be the key to ancient ruins, where important clues about fighting the darkness are hidden. I need brave volunteers to join us on this unknown adventure."

As soon as the words were spoken, a commotion erupted in the square. The students looked at each other, both nervous and excited. Hope stepped forward without hesitation, followed by Amy, the female warrior in the arena, the boy meditating by the lake… until countless hands were raised in unison, their voices converging into a powerful torrent: “We do!”

Looking at this group of passionate and determined young people, Alex felt an unprecedented surge of pride and emotion. He turned to Leah, the sorcerer, and the Night's Watchman beside him, and the four exchanged a knowing glance, as if silently confirming a belief: no matter how perilous the road ahead, they would walk side by side, leading these young warriors toward a bright future.

The night patrolman happened to pass by and witnessed this magnificent moment. He murmured to himself, "It's incredible. All these changes are just because of a beginning, the start of a journey."

At dawn the next day, as the team prepared to depart, the college square was filled with all sorts of equipment and supplies, and the students busily and systematically made their final preparations. Hope and his friends packed their bags, sharing their anticipation and trepidation.

“Hope, I can’t believe we’re about to embark on such an adventure.” A teammate rubbed his eyes, his voice full of disbelief. “It feels like we’re heroes from those ancient legends.”

Hope smiled and patted the other man on the shoulder: "Yes, stories we used to only read about in books are now ours to write. Are you ready to be part of the legend?"

At this moment, a group of curious freshmen gathered around, and one of the bolder children mustered up his courage and asked, "Seniors, are you really going to find that ancient ruin? What might be there?"

Amy smiled, her eyes gleaming with a mysterious light: "There's more than you can imagine, little ones. There's treasure, knowledge, and perhaps even secrets that can make us stronger."

The arena warrior joined the conversation: "Don't forget, there are still dangers. But that's precisely why this journey is worth our utmost effort."

One of the teenagers in the lakeside meditation group looked up at the sky, lost in thought: "Most importantly, we will grow together and witness each other's transformation."

As the procession slowly walked out of the college gate, residents on both sides of the street stopped to watch, and discussions arose one after another.

"Look, what big thing the children of Alex Academy are up to again?" an old woman whispered to her friend, her eyes filled with pride.

“Yes, these days, seeing a scene like this really gives one hope,” my friend replied, nodding slightly.

The group headed north, traversing lush forests and winding mountain ranges. The villagers along the way couldn't help but cast astonished glances at them, their whispers filled with admiration and curiosity.

"Those young people seem to carry the weight of the world on their shoulders," the village blacksmith sighed, putting down his hammer and watching the departing figures.

"Maybe, but I envy them more for having that kind of courage and dreams." The little girl next to me blinked, her eyes full of longing for the future.

After several days of trekking, the team finally arrived at the entrance to a deep cave hidden among towering mountains. An ancient map led them here, and all the legends were about to be revealed.

Alex stood at the cave entrance, turning back to look at the young faces behind him, his voice firm and powerful: "Our journey has only just begun, and the challenges ahead are unknown. But please remember, it is your choice that makes all of this possible."

Hope clenched her fists, her eyes burning with determination: "No matter what happens, we will not back down."

Amy, the arena warriors, and every member expressed the same belief in their own way. In that instant, their hearts were bound together, forming an unshakeable force.

"Then let us join hands to unveil the fog of history, for the sake of light, for the sake of the future." Alex's words, like a horn, resounded through the valley and echoed in everyone's hearts.

Just as they were about to step into the cave, a deep chant suddenly rose in the wind, like an ancient call, adding a touch of the unknown and mystery to their adventure.

"It seems even fate itself is anticipating our story," Hope chuckled softly, a hint of excitement and unease in his voice, as he and his companions stepped into the unknown darkness.

“Yes, the future belongs to the brave,” Amy followed closely behind, her eyes gleaming with determination, “and our story has only just begun…”
