Chapter 8 Miracle Power

"Who...who is he? He seems like a character straight out of a fairy tale!" A little boy tugged at his mother's clothes, his eyes filled with admiration for the stranger.

"Perhaps they are the children's guardian angels," the mother replied with a smile, her tone equally incredulous.

The crowd gradually dispersed, but a seed called "miracle" had been planted in everyone's heart. Su Mo, Mo Qingxue, and Li Haoran gathered together, discussing everything that had just happened, their eyes shining with the same determination.

"The 'Gate of Wisdom' left behind by that traveler has undoubtedly opened up a whole new world for us," Su Mo said with emotion. "We must not only continue this miracle, but also guide children to learn to cherish and utilize it."

“Indeed, this experience goes far beyond the scope of traditional education; it sparks children’s curiosity and desire to explore the world,” Mo Qingxue agreed, already beginning to devise how to integrate these experiences into her daily teaching.

“We should plan a series of activities so that every child has the opportunity to discover themselves and find their own dreams through the ‘Gate of Wisdom’,” Li Haoran suggested, his eyes sparkling with inspiration.

A few days later, the tutoring center underwent an unprecedented transformation. Under the guidance of Su Mo and his two companions, the children not only embarked on a global cultural journey through the "Gate of Wisdom," but also discovered their own interests in the process. Some developed a strong interest in ancient civilizations, while others were eager to explore the cutting-edge fields of modern technology.

Every corner of the town is brimming with unprecedented vitality and boundless aspirations for the future. As night falls, the children gather together to share what they have seen and heard through the "Gate of Wisdom," their words filled with wonder and longing for the unknown world.

"I saw the sunrise at Machu Picchu today, and the view was so beautiful it made me want to cry," a little boy said excitedly.

"I felt like I could hear the shouts of ancient warriors in the Colosseum in Rome. It was so amazing!" the girl next to me shared, not to be outdone.

"I floated on the International Space Station for a while, the stars were so close, I felt like a real astronaut!" A boy's eyes sparkled with pride.

The adults gathered around, listening to the children's enthusiastic conversation, their faces full of pride and encouragement. "Look, our children have such a broad vision; their future is sure to be incredibly bright," a father said proudly, patting his son on the shoulder.

Amidst this passion and anticipation, on an ordinary day, the tutoring center welcomed a special visitor—an observer from the Ministry of Education who came specifically to investigate this miraculous town that had attracted nationwide attention.

“I must say, what you’ve done has transcended the framework of traditional education,” the observer exclaimed. “I’d like to know how you plan to sustain this impact?”

Su Mo and the other two exchanged glances; they already knew the answer. "Our goal is to fundamentally change the way education is conducted, so that learning is no longer confined to books, but becomes a lifelong journey of exploration," Li Haoran replied on behalf of the team.

"We plan to establish an innovative education fund to attract more resources and support more 'Wisdom Gate' projects, so that children in every corner can reach their dreams," Mo Qingxue added, her voice full of determination.

"At the same time, we will also cultivate children's sense of responsibility and innovation, so that they can become promoters of social progress while exploring," Su Mo concluded, her eyes shining with a firm belief in the future.

After listening, the observer nodded deeply, his eyes revealing admiration: "This is a revolution, and I believe you are writing a new chapter in the history of education."

As night fell again, Su Mo, Mo Qingxue, Li Haoran, and the children gathered in the square, gazing up at the starry sky, as if with each glance they could see the starlight left behind by that traveler.

"What kind of miracles do you think that traveler will bring?" a little girl asked innocently.

"Who knows? But as long as we have dreams in our hearts and the courage to pursue them, miracles can happen every day," Su Mo replied gently, his gaze piercing through the starry sky, as if conversing with something in the distance.

“Yes, and we must also strive to become miracles for others,” Li Haoran said with a smile, his words filled with encouragement.

“Yes, whenever that traveler returns, we must be ready to give him the best surprise with our growth and progress.” Mo Qingxue’s words stirred the hearts of everyone present.

"Look over there, is Teacher Su and the others planning some new activity?" a roadside vendor said to his neighbor, his eyes full of curiosity and anticipation. "Ever since they set up that 'Gate of Wisdom,' our town has become much more lively."

"That's right! My son used to dread studying, but now he looks forward to going to tutoring classes every day, saying he wants to explore the secrets of the universe." The neighbor lady couldn't stop smiling, her tone full of pride.

While everyone was discussing this, Su Mo and his group were gathered in the town's library. Maps covered the entire table, and everyone looked focused, as if they were planning something big.

“If we could add real-world practical elements to the ‘Gate of Wisdom’ program, such as simulated archaeological excavations or simple scientific experiments, the children could not only ‘see’ but also do it themselves, which would surely further stimulate their interest,” Li Haoran excitedly suggested, sketching out possible activity locations on a map with his pen.

“Great idea! We can contact local research institutions and museums to see if we can get some resources.” Mo Qingxue’s eyes shone with confidence in the new plan that was about to be implemented.

“And most importantly, we need a theme, a core that can unite all the activities.” Su Mo pondered for a moment, then, as if he had thought of something, a bright light flashed in his eyes, “'Future Explorer', how about that? Let every child become a little explorer in the field of their dreams.”

This suggestion immediately won enthusiastic responses from the other two, and the discussion became even more lively.

Just as the three were engrossed in planning their future, the library door was gently pushed open, and an elderly man, leaning on a cane, slowly walked in. He was a retired teacher from the town and one of the earliest supporters of Su Mo and his group's ideals.

"Young people, I overheard your plans, and they are truly inspiring!" The old man's voice, though slightly aged, was full of deep emotion. "I remember when I was young, I also dreamed of exploring the world. You are planting the seeds of dreams in your children—truly remarkable!"

Su Mo and the other two quickly stood up and respectfully stepped forward. "Sir, your support has always been our motivation. We hope that more seniors like you can provide guidance and advice."

"I'm willing to do everything I can to help you. Perhaps my old bones can still tell some ancient history and provide the children with a different perspective," the old man said with a kind smile, the light in his eyes seemingly resonating with the hopeful children.

As night deepened, the lights inside the library shone with a particularly warm glow. Su Mo, Mo Qingxue, Li Haoran, and the elderly teacher continued their discussion, their laughter and excited whispers punctuating the air. Outside the window, several young people passing by stopped, gazing at the heartwarming scene inside the library. They exchanged glances, their eyes filled not only with envy but also with a determined resolve born of inspiration.

“We should do something too, contribute to the town, even if it’s something small,” one of the young men murmured to himself. The others nodded in agreement, seemingly having new ideas in mind.

On nights like these, stories of dreams and exploration quietly sprouted in the town, like the gentlest breeze under the starry sky, silently blowing through everyone's hearts and nurturing the birth of the next miracle.

"Teacher Su, when do you think that traveler will return? Will he bring something even more powerful?" A child looked up at the starry sky, his eyes full of curiosity.

Su Mo smiled, bent down and gently stroked the child's head: "Travelers will always return, but more importantly, each of us can become a traveler in our own lives, constantly exploring and creating our own miracles. Remember, the greatest miracle is the future we write together."
