Chapter 171 Extra Chapter 1: Several Times My Soul and Dreams Are With You (Part 1) (Jinyun)

When Mu Jinyun woke up, he had a splitting headache.

"Mingke!"

I reached out and grabbed haphazardly, but found nothing.

Sunlight streamed in through the window frame, casting a thin line across his eyes, revealing his old home, now covered in dust from his memories.

"Young Master, Young Master, are you having a nightmare?"

A servant rushed in from outside and poured him a glass of water.

“You…” Mu Jinyun couldn’t believe it.

Before him stood Shimo, the servant who had served him in the Mu family for many years. He was still young, somewhat naive, and clumsy.

"Young Master, it's hot now, and it's inevitable that some people will feel hot and bothered. Nightmares can happen from time to time. I'll ask the kitchen to make you two bowls of herbal tea..."

Mu Jinyun suddenly sat up on the couch and ran outside without even putting on his shoes.

"Young Master, where are you going!" Shi Mo held his shoes and followed after him.

Immortal Venerable Jinyun could not believe it.

They actually came back!

He and Luan Hua were about to have Ming Ke again, but then Bie Chen appeared out of nowhere, along with his precious pearl...

After a burst of golden light, he knew nothing more, and when he opened his eyes again, he was back in the past!

So, can that precious pearl turn back time?

He was running at almost the maximum effort.

Finally, he saw the familiar courtyard, and his heart pounded.

If time could be reversed and he returned to his youth, would Lin Banjian still be there?

He entered the courtyard, hesitated again and again, and placed his hand on the door panel.

Lin Banjian...is she really there?

Impulsiveness and hesitation were simultaneously churning his nerves. He laughed at himself for being so indecisive, like a child, despite all his past experiences.

Finally mustering his courage, he pushed hard!

Warm sunlight streamed into the dimly lit room.

There's no one inside!

Mu Jinyun suddenly went limp, his face filled with disbelief and grief. He staggered back two steps and fell to the ground.

Shi Mo finally caught up and was startled to see his master sitting on the ground, his face ashen.

"Young Master, did you fall? Shi Mo will help you up." Shi Mo supported Mu Jinyun's arm, but as soon as he lifted Mu Jinyun up, he slipped down again.

He asked cautiously, "Young Master? Did you hurt your leg? Should I ask someone from Divine Healer Valley to take a look?"

Mu Jinyun ignored him, staring intently into the room.

Halfway through... she really isn't here...

So, was this just a dream?

Tears streamed down his face; he finally couldn't hold them back.

If it's a dream, it's not unreasonable to cry your heart out, right?

Shi Mo was completely terrified! He had followed Mu Jinyun for so many years, when had he ever seen him cry? Even when the young master's favorite sparrow was snatched away by a wild cat, he hadn't been this heartbroken!

Shi Mo was at a loss for what to do.

Just as he was pacing anxiously and Mu Jinyun was crying her heart out, a clear and melodious voice rang out behind them.

"Huh? Jinyun? What are you doing in my yard?"

Mu Jinyun shuddered.

He turned around in disbelief.

"Half...meeting?"

"Jinyun? What's wrong?"

Lin Banjian had just returned from buying several paintings, carrying a few scrolls in her arms, and was happily planning to come back and appreciate them. However, as soon as she entered the door, she saw her good fiancé sitting in front of her door, pounding the ground and crying loudly.

"This is not a dream! This is not a dream!" Mu Jinyun instantly got up from the ground and, before Lin Banjian could react, pulled him into his arms.

"My painting! Jinyun! The painting is going to be crushed!" Lin Banjian thought Mu Jinyun had suddenly gone crazy, so he punched his back hard to make him let go.

"Heaven is still looking out for me!"

He held the person he longed for tightly in his arms, so tightly it felt like it went to his very bones.

From that day forward, they never separated again.

He will never repeat the mistakes he made before!
