Chapter 34: Jade Rabbit visits his boyfriend's room for the second time, it's time to make him face reality

The attendant guarding the corridor saw a young lady leave midway and came over to ask if she needed any help: "Young lady..."

As soon as she opened her mouth, Alice blew out a wisp of demonic energy, and taking advantage of the servant's momentary trance, she walked past him and out of the theater.

Behind him, the man noticed a velvet curtain torn to the floor. It was expensive fabric that the servant couldn't afford to pay for, so he pleaded with the guest to explain the situation to the manager. Adrian Moran was momentarily stopped and had to deal with the compensation first, unable to catch up.

The Theatre Royal, Covent Garden, was only ten minutes away from her new home, so she went straight home.

The man still rushed to her house.

Downstairs, he asked the servant, "Miss Alice, have you arrived home safely?"

The servants in the new house naturally recognized this gentleman who had been a guest and seemed to be very favored by his master. Hearing that they had gone to the theater together tonight, they were happy to tell him, "Yes, Miss Alice has just arrived. I will inform her of your visit."

"No, that's not necessary." The man replied to the servant and then murmured to himself, "She wouldn't want to see me at this time."

After saying this, he lowered his head and left in a hurry, not daring to look upstairs at all, nor did he hear the servant mutter "strange sir".

Now that she knows she's anxious, why didn't she just obey her? Alice leaned against the windowsill, staring at the man's receding figure.

She slid the curtains shut. It was time for him to face reality.

London was deserted in the dead of night. Fine snowflakes drifted from the sky, covering the ground with a thin layer of frost.

A flash of white light quickly flashed through the streets and alleys, rushing up to the old mansion next to St. George's Church. It blended into the newly covered white of London and did not attract any attention.

Alice jumped to the window sill of the second-floor bedroom as if she knew the place well. The owner of the mansion had already fallen asleep.

She landed lightly on the ground, transformed herself into a human form in an instant.

The moonlight followed her footsteps into the room, and she could clearly see that the person on the bed was not sleeping well, with a furrowed brow, a tense expression, and muttering her name.

What were you doing so early? Her almond-shaped eyes were filled with anger.

She wasn't about to show any mercy. She gently raised her left hand, palm facing upward, and the sleeping man was drawn to sit against the headboard. Alice leaned forward, capturing that rosy color, prying open the lips she had longed for all night, swallowing her name from his lips in the moist breath of their two lives.

She greedily grabbed the breath of the man under her. The man was panting rapidly, his eyelashes trembling, but his eyes were tightly closed.

"Mr. Adrian, don't you know that I'm kissing you?" Alice reached out and held his cheek.

She had no intention of hiding it from him this time, so she simply bit his soft spot. The man was so shocked that he suddenly opened his eyes and looked at her, speechless, his whole body turning red.

"Sir, since you are awake, I will not be polite." As he said that, he pressed down again and bit the toy of tonight.

The rose color was treated unkindly and dyed into a more vivid crimson.

The man couldn't breathe quickly, and his breathing became increasingly short. She had no choice but to temporarily leave her beloved toy to let him breathe in the outside air.

After the man in front of her calmed down his breathing, she rubbed his soft hair and continued to kiss him hard.

After a long time of repeating this, the man who always said one thing and meant another had become dazed and lost in passion. Finally, satisfied, she licked his lips, which were covered with tiny wounds, and asked him with a sidelong glance, "Mr. Adrian, do you still dare to say that you don't like me and don't like my closeness?"

As he spoke, he gently bit the soft meat in his mouth.

There was no good flesh left on the man's lips, and even a light touch like this caused him to tremble with pain.

He took a deep breath, regained consciousness, and refocused his eyes on the young lady in front of him who had made him lose all his armor and surrender.

Just as she was about to accept her fate and confess her love, a question suddenly crossed her mind: "Miss Alice, how did you get into my room so late at night?"

As soon as he asked the question, he regretted it. A strong intuition told him that he shouldn't ask.

"I've lived here a long time," Alice answered nonchalantly.

"It's only me and John who live here." The man was confused and didn't understand the meaning of this answer.

Suddenly, he remembered something and turned his head to look at the side of the bed. Miss Rabbit, who had been sleeping here almost every night recently, was not there.

He looked at the side of the bed, then at the smiling lady in front of him, his pupils dilated, eyes full of disbelief.

Oops, I've been discovered.

Alice didn't feel there was anything to panic about. She continued to lick the man's lips slowly and responded with her eyes: Congratulations, sir, you guessed right.

The man was speechless at that moment, unsure how to react to this bizarre situation. He looked panicked, and tried to struggle. "Miss, are you teasing me again? Even as a clergyman, I've never heard of anything so bizarre."

Clergy? She pressed harder with her mouth, and the man groaned in pain.

All she wanted was for him to come to her cleanly, without a trace of belonging to anything else, not even to the gods of this world. Since she had chosen him to be her human toy, she would not allow him to have any other conversion. He could only, and must, be her believer.

Now, the time seems to be right.

"Mr. Adrian, you don't believe it?" She finally let go of the man's pitiful lips, sat up straight, and began to play with his slender fingers casually. She looked into his eyes and said, "I'm from the East, the land where Chinese medicinal herbs are produced. There are gods everywhere there, unlike here where the gods are so scarce."

After saying this, she instantly transformed into her original form. This was no longer the appearance of an ordinary adult rabbit after the sleight of hand, but a rabbit the size of a fawn, a rabbit that would never suddenly appear in a house in England.

"It's hard to explain my identity right away. You just need to know that, in terms you can understand, I'm a reserve member of the Eastern God." Talking to him in her original form for the first time, Alice poked the man's frowning forehead with her oversized claws in a vicious manner, making him believe that the touch was absolutely real.

Adrian Moran reached out and carefully covered the furry paw on his forehead. Suddenly, he realized that all the things he had previously subconsciously ignored and convinced himself were illogical were... Miss Alice would become a god, perhaps even on par with God, and that she was a much greater distance from ordinary people like him, who were as insignificant as dust, than he had imagined.

Moreover, all the snow-white rabbits they had seen since they met were probably her incarnations. God, what had he done in front of this young lady? He was embarrassed and ashamed, and for a moment he didn't know whether to explain.

But he still didn't understand: "Miss, why are you telling me this?"

I'm already your captive, so why not leave me like this? The man thought to himself.

"Of course it's because I want you to belong to me completely, to convert to me, and to be my believer." She still felt it was not enough, "Even if I just want to sleep with you."

The power of these words seemed greater than any he had spoken tonight. Adrian Moran seemed to be torn in two by an invisible force. His face was blank for a moment, and his eyes were filled with pain and embarrassment that he desperately wanted to escape. However, his hand gripped her paw even tighter, trying to retain a little more warmth.

She transformed back into human form, took the man's hand in hers, and sat down next to him: "Mr. Adrian, now it's your turn to choose. Will you be my believer, or just my food and toy? Choose one."

She said she wanted the man to choose, but in her compelling gaze, if he showed even the slightest sign of not wanting to choose either, she would immediately break her agreement with Jane and her promise to the man in front of her. After all, he was too unlovable like that.

Alice leaned close to the man's ear and invited him, "Sir, what are you worried about? Isn't it better to enjoy life while you can?"

To the man, these words were like the devil's whisper, dragging him down to hell. He had relied on them for nearly his entire life, vowed to devote his entire life to faith in God, and now the young woman before him was about to shatter them all.

She wanted to rip his peaceful life apart, change his youthful resolve, and force him to truly turn his back on God, a move far more complete than his previous betrayal of his promise to remain single. Moreover, he seemed to be only a passing diversion on earth for this capricious future god, yet he was expected to dedicate his entire life to her as his refuge. Gods would eventually return to their place of power, while he was as light as a feather, even his soul separated by thousands of miles after death.

What made him even more miserable and embarrassed was that... she had no feelings for him at all, only wanting his body. His struggles, his inner struggles, might have seemed like a joke to her. Oh, and by the way, he had already shown her half his heart. Perhaps she had already laughed at him bitterly when she played Miss Rabbit.

He just… he just didn't want to fail miserably. Adrian Moran felt a little dizzy.

Alice instantly reached out to support him, kissed his lips, and passed a ray of auspicious air.

Even after taking so many of her medicines, why was she still so fragile? She couldn't even handle this little bit of truth, and I wondered if she could handle her nourishment. The divine reserve lady sighed softly, a rare sight. It was hard to eat a ripened fruit.

The man recovered and spoke in a calm tone: "Miss, the choice you give me is a bit unfair. No matter which one I choose, I have already tied myself to you."

"So, what's so difficult about making a decision?" She twirled the man's slightly curly hair and answered casually.

"Miss, could you please allow me to think about it before giving you an answer?" the man insisted.

Seeing that she would not get an answer tonight, Alice stood up and prepared to leave, saying only, "Sir, I will wait for you."

"But don't make me wait too long." Especially if the final answer doesn't satisfy her.

The lady with black hair and black eyes turned into a white rabbit in the blink of an eye, jumped down nimbly, and disappeared into the snow.

The next day, John delivered an envelope.

He thought his master had suddenly left home alone early in the morning, leaving him behind, and the parish affairs were temporarily entrusted to the parish deputy.

"Miss Alice, this is a letter from the master." The servant had a strange expression on his face, and the freckles on his face wrinkled into a ball. He asked cautiously, "Do you know what happened to the master?"

Alice didn't answer him. With a blank expression, she tore open the letter with her name on it. Her movements were so rough that the envelope was no longer recognizable.
