This incident was attributed to the personal grudge between the George family and Hua Xia.
Please contact George Stray for follow-up matters. He has Chinese hostages in his hands and I believe he can handle it well.
Assistants to the Presidential Office posted the announcement promptly.
Upon learning that the president had become a hands-off boss, nearly a hundred calls were made to the George family in one day.
Some of them were prominent figures whom Strayer could not refuse to see.
"George, I won't ask about anything else. When will your feud with China end? Three batches of arms were hijacked in Southeast Asia. The other party has made a promise. Let's start playing dirty!"
The person on the other end of the phone was a middle-aged man in military uniform, with a water pipe in his mouth. He was the three-star general who had helped Commons.
"How dare a country that has just stood up from the ruins confront us? You tell China to behave themselves, otherwise I won't let go of a single hostage." Stray threatened with a frown.
General Samsung snorted coldly: "George, do your hostages have any weight? Don't be too naive. China today is not a country you can easily threaten. This matter has become too serious and must be resolved as soon as possible, otherwise it will not benefit anyone."
Stray was silent for a moment, then said, "General, I know what's going on. But I must avenge my daughter."
"Let's talk about your daughter's matter later. The most important thing now is to resolve the current crisis. If your personal grudge puts the country in greater trouble, can you bear the responsibility?" The three-star general said in a stern tone.
Stray gritted his teeth and said, "I understand. I'll deal with it as soon as possible."
After hanging up the phone, Strayer fell into deep thought. Then another call came in, from an old friend who was a business tycoon.
"George, our investment in Huaxia has suffered heavy losses. You must solve this problem immediately, otherwise everyone will be dragged down by you."
Stray said irritably, "I'm trying to figure it out, don't rush me!"
Street was overwhelmed by calls one after another and felt unprecedented pressure.
"A bunch of annoying idiots. If you have time to look for me, you might as well go fight China. A bunch of spineless things!" After cursing, Stray hung up the phone and turned it off directly!
He ordered his secretary that if anyone wanted to see him again, he should say he was busy!
When George Strayer's phone call couldn't be reached, those who knew his lair could no longer sit still and formed a team to rush there.
"That idiot George, his businesses are all in Europe and America, and he's never had any dealings with China. Our media smears China every day, making these high-handed capitalists live in a dream."
On the way to George House, the Minister of Agriculture and livestock industry leaders, plus the Minister of Commerce and the Minister of Finance, formed a team to hold Street accountable.
It's not that they have to come in person, but the president clearly hinted that George was responsible for this incident and he has the bargaining chips to negotiate with China.
"George is a bastard. He has made so much dirty money in the military industry over the years. Relying on his connection with the presidential election, he has become increasingly ignorant of the world." The Secretary of Commerce could not help but curse.
"In less than a day, trillions of dollars have evaporated from our stock market. Who should be held responsible for this loss? George must give an explanation today, otherwise I can't continue in this position." The Minister of Finance shouted loudly with his face flushed with anger.
"We finally have a good grain harvest this year, and the livestock industry is doing quite well. If Huaxia doesn't take over, the farmers will have a hard time in the future." The livestock industry leader sighed worriedly.
"Alas! There are not many people who really care about this country. This group of profit-seeking capitalists are only thinking about making money all day long. How many of our officials are truly serving the people? If this continues, the country will be destroyed by them sooner or later." The Minister of Agriculture looked lonely and helpless.
"What should we do if this stupid pig doesn't see us?" the livestock industry leader couldn't help but ask.
"He dares! Then let's form a team and submit the detailed list of losses to the First Court and summon this idiot." The Minister of Commerce gave his own suggestions.
"I think it's okay. Even the President doesn't want to get involved in this matter. This is undoubtedly tacit approval for us to take countermeasures. If he is willing to give us face today, we will hold off for now; if he insists on going against us, then we will deal with him directly!" The Minister of Finance responded.
"Well, okay, it's decided!" Everyone agreed.
The group soon arrived at George's Building, but George's men tried to prevent them from entering.
"Get out of the way! We have important matters to discuss with Mr. George in person." The Minister of Agriculture shouted angrily.
"Everyone, please wait a moment. I'll go and make an announcement." The subordinate hurried away.
After a while, the subordinate came back and said with an embarrassed look on his face: "Mr. George is very busy now and has no time to see you."
"What? He clearly doesn't want to solve the problem!" the livestock industry leader said angrily.
"What does this mean? Does he think he can get rid of us by saying he doesn't have time? He caused such a big mess, and now he dares to avoid us!" said the livestock industry leader angrily.
"Humph, George thought he could get away with it? We won't let him off so easily!" The Minister of Commerce had a gloomy expression.
"No, we can't just leave like this. Let's wait here. I don't believe he can stay away forever." The Finance Minister suggested angrily.
"Waiting is not a solution. Since he clearly doesn't want to see us, it will be useless even if we wait until dark." The Minister of Agriculture shook his head.
"What should we do? Are we just going to let him go?" the livestock industry leader asked anxiously.
The Minister of Commerce pondered for a moment and said, "We can't lose our composure. He's not meeting us simply because he thinks he can drag it out, or because he hasn't figured out how to respond. But we can't let him succeed."
"Yes, we can't give him a chance to breathe." The Minister of Finance echoed.
The Minister of Agriculture continued, "He thinks he can evade responsibility now, but this matter has enormous implications, affecting every aspect of the country. If he doesn't resolve it, no one will be happy."
"Then are we really going directly to the court?" the livestock industry leader asked again.
The Minister of Commerce nodded firmly. "That's right. Let's go to court! Let the law punish him. Let's see how long he can continue to be so arrogant."
"Okay, let's go to court! He must pay the price!" everyone said in unison.
"This time we must make him understand that his behavior is not beyond his control, and that the interests of the country and the lives of the people cannot be trampled upon at will," the Minister of Agriculture said finally.
After saying that, the group left George Building with anger and headed straight for the court.
