As soon as she entered the study, she was met with an eager gaze. She looked in the direction of the gaze and saw Qi Yunwen, the Vice Minister of the Court of Judicial Review. When he saw her, he was stunned and stared at her blankly.

She suddenly remembered that Gu Jingxi, courtesy name Yaoling, was someone her mother-in-law had mentioned to her before.
In an instant, Meng Jinyao felt as if she had been struck by lightning and was extremely embarrassed. What kind of wife would call out her husband's name and ask someone else, "Who is this person?"

Qi Yunwen was taken aback by these words. So, he shouldn't have shown up?
He shrugged helplessly: "When I came, your servant said you were in the study, so I asked him to take me there. But I didn't see you just now, only my sister-in-law."
Gu Jingxi leaned against the door frame and asked in a calm voice, "Is there something you need?"
