A day and a night later, Zhou Guiyun and Jiang Shouhe, mother and son, arrived at the train station in the provincial capital where the troops were located.

Han Shiguo specially asked for an excuse to borrow a car to come and wait. Since he had called the army to confirm, he knew their boarding time and could come and wait on time.

Han Shiguo saw them as soon as the mother and son got out of the car.

Although everyone carried large and small bags, it was rare to see people like his mother-in-law and third uncle!

"Mom, Third Brother!" Han Shiguo shouted.

Zhou Guiyun and Jiang Shouhe also saw him at once. After all, that head stood out among the crowd.

Han Shiguo came up and took the package and the basket of eggs from his mother-in-law. "Mom, Third Brother, are you tired after the journey?"

"I'm not tired, but the third brother is tired. He has to keep an eye on things and hasn't slept much." Zhou Guiyun said with a smile.

"Nothing." Jiang Shouhe didn't feel much.

"Let's go back first and let Third Brother have a good rest when we get home." Han Shiguo said.

"Okay." Zhou Guiyun nodded with a smile.

Jiang Shouhe followed, carrying a chicken cage.

Han Shiguo looked at the chickens and said with a smile, "I told you not to bring anything here. You can buy everything here. How tiring is it to bring all these?"

"Why be tired? Just carry your things on the bus. We have been riding the bus all the way here. It's not tiring for us at all." Zhou Guiyun said with a smile.

Han Shiguo didn't say anything else. He brought them over and got into the car, including the chicken.

"We don't need to stay for long. We'll just stay for two days and then go back." Zhou Guiyun said after getting in the car.

"No, you have to stay a few more days. Qianqian just gave birth. When she heard me say you were coming the other day, she was very happy. I was hoping that you could come and spend more time with her." Han Shiguo said.

Zhou Guiyun smiled and said, "There is still so much work to do at home."

"It's nothing serious, just take a break."

"Is my little sister okay?" Jiang Shouhe asked.

"Don't worry, third brother, Qianqian is fine." Han Shiguo nodded.

Driving all the way back to the army like this is very fast.

However, since I was a stranger, I had to register before entering the base, but it was simple and was done quickly.

After joining the army, Han Shiguo first sent them home and then turned around to return the car.

"Oh, my dear sister-in-law, you are here. Why do you bring so many things with you? It must be so tiring." Han's mother said happily when she saw them coming.

Zhou Guiyun smiled and said, "Not all of them are mine. These three chickens were sent by my father-in-law to me by Shiguo's eldest brother and he asked me to bring them along."

"That old man is quite thoughtful." Han's mother laughed immediately.

"How can I not be thoughtful? These are my grandchildren. I can't bear to see them go hungry." Zhou Guiyun said with a smile.

While they were exchanging pleasantries, Zhou Guiyun also came into the house. As for the chickens, they were all placed in the yard outside.

"Auntie, is there a river here? I'll go take a bath first and come back later." Jiang Shouhe asked.

"Don't be anxious. Wait for Shiguo to come back and let Shiguo take you to the bathhouse. Xiaozhen, get a basin of water for your third uncle and wash your face first." Han's mother went to pour water and greeted.

"Okay." Zhang Xiaozhen went to get a basin of water and took a new towel.

Jiang Shouhe did not use the new towel. He brought one of his own with him and washed his face with his own towel, and also washed his hands with soap.

He was guarding the chickens all the way and even smelled like chicken shit, so he didn't dare go in to see his younger sister and nephews.

But Zhou Guiyun couldn't wait to come in and see her daughter and grandchildren.

"Mom!" Jiang Qian's eyes suddenly turned red when she saw her mother come in.

Zhou Guiyun hurriedly said, "Don't cry. You can't shed tears during confinement. It will damage your eyes!"
