Chapter 44: A Bad Temper (Page 1/2)
After Han Jiayue said this, Jiang Qian glanced at Li Xia, the elder sister-in-law.
Li Xia pretended not to see it and turned away.
Because of her action, Han's mother's face suddenly darkened, and she directly scolded her granddaughter: "You have a father who gave birth to you but no mother who taught you, right? What do you have to do with the gift your uncle gave you? Is your family short of food or drink? You asked for a red envelope from your aunt as soon as she came in. This is not a festival. Where did you learn this rule?"
Li Xia originally wanted to watch the show, but ended up being scolded. "Mom, your words are too harsh, aren't they? What do you mean by having a father but no mother to teach him? Isn't this just a child who doesn't know any better? Why do you have to scold him like that?"
"You raised your daughter like this, and you still have the nerve to do that?" Han's mother scolded.
Han Shimin felt ashamed and immediately took out a bamboo stick to beat Han Jiayue.
Han Jiayue was scared to death. Seeing that Han Shiguo didn't move, Jiang Qian could only step forward to stop him, "Brother, don't hit him. He's just a kid playing around."
Han Jiayue was annoyed, "You don't need to be a good person!"
"I'm going to beat you to death, you rebellious girl!" Han Shimin got angry.
This time Jiang Qian didn't stop him, and his expression dimmed.
Her family has a good tradition. Her nephews and nieces are the kind of people who are naughty but polite. They are not the kind of people who don't know how to respect others and are annoying.
So she had no interest in stopping him.
Han Jiayue still wanted to run, but the door was closed by Han Shiguo.
"Uncle, what are you doing!" Han Jiayue said in horror.
But Han Shimin's bamboo stick had already hit him, and Han Jiayue screamed.
Li Xia's mother wanted to stop them, but was stopped by Han Shiguo. "After not seeing her for a few years, Jiayue has become so cunning and ignorant. Sister-in-law, you don't have to stop her. Let brother teach her the rules. After she's done, come over and apologize to her aunt!"
"Shiguo, Jiayue is still young..." Li Xia's face looked ugly.
"Is she still young at ten years old? If it's earlier, she can get married in a few years. You'd better teach her well!" Han Shiguo said coldly.
He didn't care about the matter of dividing the family before, but now she dares to make things difficult for her as soon as her aunt came into the house. It's outrageous!
So Han Jiayue was severely beaten by her father Han Shimin in front of the whole family. She cried and wiped her tears, but no one stopped her.
After the cigarette was finished, Han Shiguo spoke, this time his eyes and voice were very serious, "Come here and apologize to your aunt!"
"Why don't you go over and apologize to your aunt!" Han Shimin cursed, throwing away the broken bamboo stick.
Although Han Jiayue was unwilling, this beating was not in vain, so she could only come to Jiang Qian and apologize, "Aunt, I'm sorry."
Jiang Qian didn't like this niece from the bottom of her heart, but it was her first day after all. She took one look at her and said, "Does it hurt? Do you want some medicine to rub it on?"
Li Xia rolled her eyes. "She is just a country girl, with thick skin and rough flesh. Why does she need to apply medicine?"
As soon as he entered the door, his daughter was beaten. How could he pretend to be a good person?
Jiang Qian nodded, "Forget it then."
She knew that there must be a reason why her daughter dared to speak like that, and she and her sister-in-law Li Xia would not become friends, so they just needed to keep their distance.
Li Xia was choked and glanced at her sister-in-law.
She looks delicate and timid, but she has a bad temper!
Han's mother was an experienced person, and of course she saw the relationship between her son and his wife. She was a little annoyed, and after giving her granddaughter a glance, she said unhappily, "Heat up the food, and after dinner, while it's still early, I'll divide the house among you!"
She originally wanted to wait until tomorrow to talk about it, but now she doesn't want to wait any longer, so she wants to divide the family business quickly and let everyone live their own lives!
Although Han's father didn't say anything, he agreed.
