Is it my turn?

Is it my turn?

Late at night, in the main courtyard.

Fang Li lay lazily on the soft bedding, wearing only a silky nightgown, swinging her two fair and delicate feet, her fingertips idly twirling the ends of her drooping hair.

Little Liuli rolled around excitedly beside her pillow, like a fluffy snowball, chattering away as she reviewed the day's "dog training" results with her.

"Host, host! Look at that big oaf's stupidity today! Hahaha!" Little Liuli flapped her wings on the bedsheet, laughing so hard she almost fell over. "Let him move mountains with his bare hands! Let's see if he dares to use brute force again! He didn't even dare to utter a sound when his hands were blistered! In the end, he was clutching that bloodstained handkerchief like it was a treasure! It's hilarious! (Wriggles wildly) Host, your 'using stupidity to fight stupidity' technique is absolutely brilliant!"

Fang Li's lips curled into a smug, mischievous smile as she poked its round belly with her fingertip: "This is nothing! It's just an appetizer."

Little Liuli immediately perked up, flipping herself up and leaning closer with sparkling eyes: "Host! Who's next? (rubbing her paws together) How about Night Ice Cube? (evil grin) Make him blast cold air every day! Freeze someone to death! Punish him... punish him to warm the host's bed! Warm him with his body! He has to be naked to warm him! (letting out a lewd yet excited giggle)"

Fang Li rolled her eyes at it, then flicked its forehead with her finger: "Get lost! You little lecher! Is that punishment or reward? I think you've been reading too many romance novels..." She paused for a moment, her eyes gleaming with a sly glint, "I think... that fox Xie Chen... might be suitable..."

Before the words were even finished!!

A familiar chill silently spread, and the moisture in the room instantly condensed into tiny ice crystals, which fell down in a soft rustling sound.

Ye Wuyang's figure appeared silently by the bedside like solidified ice mist, his deep gaze falling on Fang Li.

"...My turn?" His voice was low and hoarse, revealing neither joy nor anger, yet carrying a strange hint of danger.

Little Liuli screamed in fright, jumped three feet high, and her fur bristled: "Ice cubes, ice cubes! Host, take care! The wind is strong, let's get out of here! This system is retreating first!" With a whoosh, she nimbly burrowed into the deepest part under the bed.

Fang Li was also slightly taken aback. She put down her swaying legs, sat up, and subconsciously pulled up her slightly loose collar to cover up some of her exposed skin.

She looked up: "Immortal Lord Ye... What brings you here so late at night? Perhaps... you also wish to make an appointment for 'special treatment'?"

Ye Wuyang did not answer, but stared at her with deep eyes, and slowly sat down on the edge of the bed.

He reached out, his fingertips slightly cool to the touch, and gently brushed her cheek where Ji Qianqiu had foolishly rubbed against her during the day. His voice was low and husky: "...Does it hurt?"

Fang Li was taken aback by his question, paused for a moment, then pouted, "It doesn't hurt anymore. Compared to someone back in the Forgotten Dust Palace, using their aura..."

Before she could finish speaking, Ye Wuyang's fingertips paused, and a clear look of pain flashed in his eyes.

He suddenly leaned forward and gently pressed her into the soft quilt. His cool lips, with a hint of careful tenderness, pressed against her forehead: "...I'm sorry."

All of Fang Li's prepared teasing and retorts were shut down by this sudden apology and gentle kiss.

His kisses gradually moved downwards, landing on her trembling eyelashes, the tip of her upturned nose, and finally covering her slightly parted lips. He carefully traced the shape of her lips.

"Li'er..." he murmured softly between their lips, his breath slightly cool, "Don't... push me away again..."

Under his rare gentle advances, Fang Li's defenses gradually crumbled.

She sighed, and finally reached out to wrap her arms around his neck, awkwardly responding to the kiss.

The meaning is left to the imagination; the romance is boundless, but the bed is indeed very sturdy...

As their passion subsided, Ye Wuyang still held her tightly, his chin resting lightly on the top of her head, his voice hoarse with satisfaction: "Li'er, shall we move back to Wangchen Palace...?"

Fang Li squinted lazily, her fingers unconsciously tracing circles on its smooth, firm chest: "Let's see... This place... is pretty good too."

Ye Wuyang stopped talking, but tightened his arms and hugged her even more tightly.

The next morning, Fang Li woke up with a sore back and aching waist. As soon as she opened her eyes, she saw Ye Wuyang sleeping peacefully in profile beside her.

His stern features softened slightly in the morning light, and the corners of his lips even held a hint of contentment.

Thinking of how "hard" he had been last night, Fang Li gritted her teeth in anger and lightly punched his hard chest.

"Hmm..." Ye Wuyang's eyelashes trembled slightly, as if she was about to wake up.

Just then—

"boom--!!!"

A deafening roar suddenly came from the direction of the courtyard gate!

Immediately afterwards, a familiar voice, full of energy and full of laughter and scolding, pierced through the layers of formations and resounded throughout the entire mansion!

"Hey! Which bastard set up this formation?! It almost knocked out my newly inlaid jade tooth! Xie Chen! Was it you who did this?! All you know is this fancy stuff! Get out here and pay up!"

"Awoo~! Awoo~!" Several childish roars followed immediately, seemingly echoing the cursing.

Little Liuli darted out from under the bed, excitedly flitting around the room: "Host! Host! It's the old man! It's Old Man Qingxuan! His loud voice! And Little Tuntun's barking! There's no mistake! (Spinning around excitedly)"

Fang Li and Ye Wuyang, who had been completely awakened, exchanged a glance and both saw a hint of surprise in each other's eyes.

Master; Junior Brother, how did you find your way here?

The two quickly straightened their clothes and went to the front yard.

The courtyard gate was wide open, and the jade door that was strong enough to withstand the impact of an immortal lord was now broken into several pieces and scattered all over the ground.

Master Qingxuan stood with his hands on his hips, glaring at Xie Chen who had rushed over upon hearing the commotion.

Beside him followed a chubby, all-black little goblin!

Little Tun seemed to have gotten even rounder, and was currently happily munching on a piece of door panel. Its bright black eyes darted around, spotted Fang Li, and immediately dropped the door panel, letting out a joyful "Awoo!" before transforming into a round, black beam of light and leaping into Fang Li's arms!

"Ouch!" Fang Li stumbled from the impact of the heavy, solid little cannonball, but luckily Ye Wuyang caught her from behind.

She hugged the fluffy little creature in her arms, rubbing its increasingly round head with delight: "Little Tuntun! You've grown up! And gained so much weight!" She almost couldn't hold it anymore!

Little Tun Tun rubbed its head against Fang Li's chin, making happy "woo-woo" sounds, and its short tail wagged like a propeller.

When Master Qingxuan saw Fang Li, he immediately abandoned Xie Chen, beaming as he approached her with open arms: "Oh! My precious disciple! I've missed you so much! Let me see if you've lost weight?"

Ye Wuyang stepped forward expressionlessly, precisely blocking Fang Li's path, his voice icy: "Junior Brother." An invisible chill spread out.

Master Qingxuan shivered from the cold, pouted, and muttered in dissatisfaction, "Hmph! Ice-cold face! I knew it was you who stole my disciple! Still the same old you!"

Master Qingxuan nimbly bypassed him and looked Fang Li up and down. "Hmm! Her complexion is rosy and her eyes are bright. It seems she wasn't bullied! On the contrary, she looks even more radiant! Not bad, not bad!"

At this moment, Ji Qianqiu also arrived after hearing the news. Upon seeing Qingxuan, he scratched his head sheepishly and asked, "Uncle-Master Qingxuan? How did you end up here? And you even took the door down?"

Shen Yunzhou's figure also quietly appeared beside the pillar, and he nodded slightly to Master Qingxuan: "Uncle-Master".

Master Qingxuan looked at the four people in front of him, his eyes darting around, and smiled like an old fox: "Tsk tsk tsk... They're all here? Good, good! That saves me the trouble of searching for them one by one!"

The group then moved to the lakeside flower hall.

Master Qingxuan sat casually in the main seat, teasing the little beast, Tuntun, who was munching on a spirit fruit while lying on his lap. The little beast was spitting juice everywhere, but he didn't care at all.

He took a sip of the fragrant tea Xie Chen offered before clearing his throat and explaining his purpose: "The sect... thanks to you, it has developed quite well in recent years! The spiritual energy has recovered, and the disciples have also lived up to expectations! It's just that... there's a bit of a gap in top-tier combat power. The old guys who are in charge are still just a few of us, which is a bit lacking."

He glanced at the people present and said with a smile, "The sect leader and a few old guys got together and... well, here we are... some big shots right here! Let's keep the good stuff in the family!"

He rubbed his hands together and chuckled, "Hehe...everyone...would you be interested in returning to the Tianyan Sect...and taking on the title of elder?"

Before the others could react, he immediately added, "Don't worry! You're completely free! You don't need to worry about anything! Just think of it as finding a beautiful place to retire! The sect will provide you with the best spiritual peaks, with plenty of resources! The main thing is... to use your names to set up a presence! Let those scoundrels outside know that the Tianyan Sect is not to be trifled with! How about it?"

He then looked at Ye Wuyang: "Senior Brother Wuyang... your Forget-Dust Palace has always been empty, cleaned spotlessly, and absolutely quiet. No one dares to disturb it."

Then he looked at Shen Yunzhou: "Junior Nephew Yunzhou... your master Ling Xiaozi talks about you every day, and he has been saving Lengyou Peak for you."

He looked at Ji Qianqiu and said, "Junior Nephew Qianqiu... Your master, Hong Lie, that old rascal, drinks and brags every day, saying that you definitely can't beat him now! He's just waiting for you to go back and spar with him!"

Finally, he looked especially at Fang Li and Xie Chen, his smile widening: "Especially you two! Yi Xing Peak will always be reserved for you! Li'er... come back and be a Supreme Elder? Your status will be one level higher than mine! Xie Chen, kid... how about you be the Pavilion Master? The Starfall Pavilion needs a foundation to rebuild, doesn't it?"

Fang Li and Xie Chen exchanged a glance, then looked at the others.

"Elder?" Fang Li toyed with her teacup, her eyes somewhat dazed. Tianyan Sect... for her, it held too many memories... Should she go back?

Ye Wuyang pondered for a moment, and unconsciously a small ice flower condensed on the table with his fingertips: "The Forgotten Dust Palace... needs to be rebuilt."

Shen Yunzhou said in a calm tone, "Lengyou Peak... is acceptable." He did not object.

Ji Qianqiu's eyes lit up, and he slapped his thigh: "Great! Tianyuan Peak! Old Man Hong definitely can't beat me! I'm going to become an elder! Take on disciples! Teach them to chop the hardest firewood!" He was so excited that his axe hummed.

Xie Chen chuckled lightly, fanning himself, and said calmly, "Master has given the order. How could I dare disobey? I would be more than happy to do so."

Upon seeing this, Master Qingxuan slapped his thigh and beamed with joy: "Good! It's settled then!" He immediately pulled out several elder tokens from his sleeve, each shimmering with light and engraved with the cloud patterns of the Tianyan Sect and their respective titles, and stuffed them into the hands of the group without further ado. "Here! A greeting gift! Sect tokens! Keep them safe!"

With his mission accomplished, Master Qingxuan was satisfied. He picked up Little Tun Tun, who was still munching on fruit, and said, "Let's go! There's still a lot of work to do at the sect! We'll be waiting for your good news! Come back soon!" Before anyone could react, he transformed into a streak of light and disappeared into the horizon, carrying Little Tun Tun's protesting "woof woof."

The flower hall fell silent for a moment.

The men all had different expressions and were deep in thought.

Fang Li stared at the words "Supreme Elder Li" engraved on the token, her eyes filled with a complex and unfocused expression. She murmured softly, "Tianyan Sect... Elder... It's been so long..."

Little Liuli perched on her shoulder, tilting her head, and muttered softly, "Host... what's this? A collective... retreat to the newbie village to retire? But... it sounds pretty peaceful? No fighting or killing, and you can even boss your apprentices around?"
