Erwin frowned. "Keep talking!"
The captain said: "According to my guess, there are only two possibilities. The first is that the information you provided may be wrong! The second possibility is..."
The captain paused.
Erwin asked in confusion, "What is it?"
The captain said, "The second possibility is that the place you are looking for may be moving!"
Erwin's eyes widened. "Moving?"
The captain nodded. "Yes, sir, look, according to the route calculations, the first route was heading south. Considering the wind direction and speed that year, as well as the ships they used, they should have deviated about thirty degrees to the east. In the end, they should be in this place!"
The captain picked up the pen beside him and drew a circle on the map.
Include a sea area.
Alvin looked at the location marked on the map. This map showed Grindelwald's route, and the marked place was a strait somewhere deep in the ocean.
The captain then picked up another map, which was the one showing old Robert's shipping route.
Then he said, "This map shows us heading west. According to the same calculation method, the final route should be offset about 70 degrees to the north, which means it is infinitely biased towards due south!"
As he spoke, the captain circled the location where Old Robert finally arrived.
The captain then put the two maps together.
"Master, look, the final directions of these two destinations are very different! So, if the place you are looking for is where they both arrived at the same time, then there is only one explanation for this place: it is moving!"
Erwin looked at the two dots on the map.
His brows were furrowed.
"What do these two places have in common?"
The captain nodded: "Yes, look here!"
The captain took up his pen and drew a cross in the center of the map.
Then he said, "Look, if you set a coordinate axis here, then coincidentally, these two places are within the range of this coordinate axis, and both are at the very edge. If you draw the coordinate axis into a circle, these two places are on the edge of the circle!"
Erwin put his hands behind his back.
Look at the circle on the map.
"So, in other words, the Blessed Island is most likely moving in a circular trajectory around a certain place?"
The captain nodded: "That's what I guessed, but I'm not sure of the details!"
Erwin pointed his finger at the map.
"Where is the center of this circle?"
The captain hesitated and said, "Bermuda!"
Erwin's eyes widened. "Bermuda Triangle? Triangle of Death?"
The captain nodded: "Yes, master, the center of the circle is in Bermuda!"
Erwin frowned. “Have you ever been to Bermuda?”
The captain shook his head. "No, sir. Although our family is now in the wizarding world, we have never explored Bermuda. That place is a bit strange! Master, you don't know much about sailing, so you may not know. I have looked up some information. Bermuda was once explored by a wizarding family, but they never returned! So, I have never taken the risk!"
Erwin said, "Does the area around the circle belong to Bermuda?"
The captain said: "It doesn't belong. This range seems to be intentional. Entering the circle is the range of Bermuda, and the edge of the circle just leaves Bermuda!"
Erwin nodded. "In that case, let's go and take a look. Don't enter Bermuda. While you're on the road, see if you can figure out how fast Blessed Island is moving, and where we might encounter it if we go over there! Although we don't have much information right now, try your best! If you can figure it out, then do it. If you can't, that's fine. We can always find another way later! But don't take risks, and don't venture into Bermuda lightly!"
The captain nodded.
Then he turned around to make arrangements.
He had no objection to Erwin going to Bermuda.
His life belongs to Cavendish. Even if Alvin asked him to dive into Bermuda, he would have no objection, not to mention that he is only on the periphery now.
After the captain left.
Erwin sat on the couch.
Erwin is also in awe of Bermuda.
Human power can never defeat nature.
Not to mention this naturally formed Jedi.
Bermuda holds so many secrets.
Before Alvin traveled through time, many people had already been studying Bermuda.
The most widely accepted theory is that there is something wrong with the magnetic field in the Bermuda Triangle, so ships and planes can get lost there, run aground, and disappear.
But it has never been confirmed.
Instead, more explanations were extended.
What are the whirlpool theory, sea cave theory, water bridge theory, and secondary theory.
And so on and so forth.
No fewer than twenty hypotheses.
Among them are scientific, metaphysical, and some that I am too lazy to learn.
In a nutshell, Bermuda is full of mystery and danger.
Alvin also stayed away from such places.
But this time, Alvin wanted to find the Blessed Island, but the clues pointed to Bermuda.
This had to make Alvin think more.
What exactly is this Bermuda? What is the connection between Blessed Island and Bermuda?
Or are all the bizarre legends of Bermuda caused by magic?
