On the day she was leaving, Xing Mingming heard that she was going back, and without saying a word, she immediately asked Wen Zhaonian to be her free driver.
They even had the audacity to say it was on their way and they could have someone to talk to.
Li Tangyan initially wanted to refuse, but in the end, she couldn't resist her insistence and had to agree.
Although Z City and X City are not particularly far apart, it still takes several hours to drive back.
By the time Wen Zhaonian's car arrived at the place where she and Yao Qing lived, the sky had already been tinged with a deep azure color.

However, Wen Zhaonian appeared much calmer.
He tapped the steering wheel lightly with his knuckles, the sound of the wind making his voice sound even more ethereal and unreal.
"I'm not so idle as to play games with you."

As soon as he finished speaking, several deeper creases appeared on the seatbelt that was being pulled.
Then, before she could say anything more, Wen Zhaonian's next words completely blocked her way out: "It just so happens that someone has asked for leave, and the institute is short-staffed recently."
"I only have this one condition."
"Whether it's possible or not is up to you."
As his words fell, Wen Zhaonian's gaze remained fixed, his dark eyes like an unfathomable pool.
It reflected her entire image.

As the two fell silent, an invisible barrier seemed to envelop them, trapping them in this small space from which they could not escape.

The sight of that almost fleeing figure, seen by those inside the car, quickly brought a barely perceptible smile to their faces.
When Li Tangyan arrived home, Yao Qing was already sitting on the sofa with Xu Miaomiao, holding a bag of spicy strips, and they both looked at her at the same time.
Why are you staring at me like that? It's creepy.
Li Tangyan's face was still flushed, but she was stunned for a moment when she met the two people's undisguised scrutinizing gazes, and then she looked down at herself.
I didn't wear my clothes inside out.
In a daze, she saw Yao Qing pat the sofa next to her, gesturing for her to come over.
After Li Tangyan sat down, she leaned over with a gossipy look on her face and asked, "Didn't you go back to X City? Why was Wen Zhaonian the one who brought you back?"
"Have they made up?"

Then, Yao Qing was the first to react, waving her hand and laughing, "I won't forget, I won't forget, I'll never forget you, even if I forget anyone else."
"..." Li Tangyan raised an eyebrow, and for some reason, she sensed something was off about Yao Qing's words.
But before she could react, Xu Miaomiao had already pulled out a picture and placed it in front of her.
In front of the floor-to-ceiling window, Potato is lying on the ground with his limbs outstretched, carrying the person taking the photo on his back. The setting sun outside the window is as beautiful as a painting.
Li Tangyan glanced at it, as if she had overlooked some detail, and was about to lean closer to take a closer look.
Xu Miaomiao had already put her phone away, and a hint of a smile appeared in her voice.
“I can attest that Yao Qing is right.”
