Chapter 81 Diary

In the evening, the old lady was taken out by Ayan to see a nearby light show, leaving only Wen Zhaonian and Li Tangyan in the old house.

They're not leaving until tomorrow, so under the old lady's arrangement, Wen Zhaonian will share a room with Ayan tonight.

When Wen Zhaonian finished packing and came out of the room, he saw Li Tangyan, who had just finished taking a shower, sitting cross-legged on the sofa with a remote control, switching TV channels.

A half-wet towel was wrapped around her head, and a few strands of hair fell out, dripping onto her shoulder and wetting a small patch of her clothing.

Seeing Wen Zhaonian come out, Li Tangyan, with one hand on the towel, looked back at him and pointed upstairs with the other.

With a slight smile, she said without the slightest embarrassment, "Could you get me the hairdryer? I'm too lazy to go upstairs; it's in my room."

As soon as she finished speaking, Wen Zhaonian gave her a deep look.

Then suddenly he said, "I can see that."

"?"

Li Tangyan was a little confused, but the next second he opened his lips.

His eyes slanted upwards, a hint of mockery in his dark gaze: "Indeed lazy."

Before Li Tangyan could even react, she felt the towel wrapped around her head being pressed down.

Through the towel, Wen Zhao gently rubbed her half-wet hair.

As his Adam's apple bobbed, a familiar voice slowly drifted down from the top of his head.

"But I think you can be even lazier."

"Shall I carry you up tonight?"

The words were teasing, which quickly warmed someone's cheeks.

The variety show on TV had been running for about five minutes, but Wen Zhaonian still hadn't come down.

Li Tangyan called his name upwards, but there was no response.

Out of curiosity, I got off the sofa and went upstairs.

The door to the room was not closed, but just ajar.

The moment Li Tangyan pushed open the door, she saw Wen Zhaonian's back to her.

He stood in front of the desk, his expression unreadable.

"What's wrong? Didn't you find it?"

As she spoke, Li Tangyan took another step forward.

However, when she walked up to him and saw what Wen Zhaonian was holding, she silently gasped.

In addition to the hair dryer, he had something else in his hand.

It was the diary she had just snatched back from Ayan that morning.

There's nothing shameful in it; it's just some random stuff I wrote when I was a kid.

When these things are suddenly brought up, they always make her feel like she's being forced to recall all the embarrassing things she did in the past.

It's no different from those things that happened on QQ Space on this day in 2010.

After reading it, only two words remained in my mind.

How shameful!

"This diary..."

Wen Zhaonian turned his head to the side and saw that her ears had turned red at some point.

He gave a barely perceptible smile, then handed the diary in his hand to her.

His voice was slightly deep, carrying a hint of seductive cunning: "It was under the hairdryer; I wasn't looking and it fell to the ground. Don't worry, I didn't peek..."

At the end of his sentence, whether intentionally or unintentionally, he lowered his voice slightly, his tone carrying a hint of teasing.

"...You can see it if you want."

Upon hearing this, Wen Zhaonian raised an eyebrow, as if somewhat surprised.

However, his surprise was quickly dispelled by Li Tangyan's subsequent reaction, and he even wanted to laugh.

She held up her index finger and made a "1" gesture in front of Wen Zhaonian's eyes.

When she looked up, her clear eyes seemed to dart away slightly, perhaps out of embarrassment.

She then added, her voice trembling slightly with nervousness, "But... I can only let you choose one page to look at, no more."

After saying that, Li Tangyan lowered her eyes and muttered softly, "It's embarrassing."
