Monsters, whose bloodlines are impure, are often no different from ordinary plants and animals. A few, through some fortuitous circumstances, gain consciousness and, through long years of cultivation, may have the opportunity to transform into human form.
The demon race does not recognize these monsters as their own. In their view, they are merely inferior beings—although many of the monsters that can transform into human form are quite powerful.
Furthermore, most ferocious beasts retain their animal instincts. High-level ferocious beasts are no less intelligent than humans, but they are often proud of their lineage and form and disdain transforming into human form.
