Now it was Zaun's turn to be surprised: "Even that kind of being couldn't detect you?"
“Our contract is special. No one but you can see me unless I reveal myself,” Mi Li said with a hint of arrogance.
"Then why were you hiding back then?" Zuan recalled the situation and expressed doubt about her account.
"Isn't it to prevent you, you idiot, from suddenly thinking of me and causing me to be exposed?" Mi Li said irritably.
Zuan chuckled awkwardly, still feeling lingering fear as he thought of the true god's mind-reading ability: "Can they really read our minds? Then we have absolutely no secrets from them. Even if we have any plans, we probably can't hide them from them."
