“Manman?” Qiu Honglei frowned slightly. “I don’t think it’s appropriate. Back in Mingyue City, she and Chuyan were best friends. How could she possibly help me deal with Chuyan’s master?”
“Being best friends doesn’t necessarily mean having a good relationship. If they were really that close, why did Manman still get together with Azu when she knew that Chuyan was Azu’s wife?” Yun Jianyue laughed.
“There must be a reason for this,” Qiu Honglei rolled her eyes. “Just like how Master didn’t know about Azu’s relationship with me, but still got together with Azu.”

I never expected that lifting a rock would backfire so badly.
Qiu Honglei hurriedly grabbed her arm: "Oh, Master, I was just joking. Manman is your sister now, and she's actually closer to us. Let's do as Master says and let her help."

"Whether I believe it or not is irrelevant; the key is whether others believe it." Pei Mianman took a deep breath. "How long do you plan to keep this a secret?"
