Chapter 1252 Beneath the Ocean

The one that had just been launched was by no means weak, but the shrill screams it emitted upon falling sent chills down everyone's spines.

Having learned from their experience, the others dared not act recklessly anymore. They had realized that once they left the ship's range, the suction force generated by the hollow in the middle of the huge whirlpool was unstoppable.

The fact that the people on board are still managing to hold on is probably thanks to the ship's built-in defense system.

Even so, everyone was already tilting and swaying on the boat. Yanni shouted, "Everyone, grab the nearest railing and hold on tight! Don't get thrown out!"

Even if she hadn't said it, everyone would have done it anyway, clinging tightly to whatever they could hold onto.

Unfortunately, the rotational force was too great, and the terrifying suction caused the ship's defensive formations to become ineffective.

Many of the crew members on board could not hold on and were thrown overboard.

The passengers on the ship were all strong and managed to hold on tightly to the railings. Unfortunately, the tearing force generated by the surrounding whirlpools was too great, and the sturdy hull gradually could not support it, making a series of creaking sounds.

Before anyone could react, some of the railings suddenly broke, and several guests were thrown out before they could react.

Fortunately, each of them possessed unique skills. In the critical moment, they either extended their arms or extended grappling hooks, and in the end, they managed to grab the stern of the warship and barely managed to stay on board.

Alfred shielded Isabella behind him, protecting her from the oncoming waves: "Miss, hold on tight!"

Isabella hummed in response, her face pale, but she still gripped the railing tightly beside her.

Alfred shielded her from most of the danger, so she was under much less pressure than others.

At this moment, Zuan and Tingxue were at the bow of the ship. Compared to the others, Tingxue's feet seemed to be nailed to the deck, and the tearing force around her seemed to have no effect on her at all.

"Can't you control the seawater?" she suddenly asked, seeing the others' disheveled state.

Zuan shook his head slightly: "There seems to be a strange power mixed in with this seawater that I cannot control."

Just then, a teeth-grinding scraping sound suddenly came, followed by the sudden snapping of the cables on the deck, as if they had turned into several whistling whips that swept across.

Some of the surviving crew members didn't even have time to react before they were snapped in two by the lame maneuver.

The immense weight of the cables of this colossal warship, combined with the suction force of the massive vortex, instantly transformed into a whip of destruction.

The enormous cable lashed out directly toward Isabella's location. Alfred was shocked and quickly stepped in front of her, crossing his arms and creating a phantom image resembling a tortoise shell around his body.

boom!

Alfred managed to block the whip, but couldn't help spit out a mouthful of blood.

He was extremely shocked at this moment. Why was the power of this whip so great?

Just then, a sudden change occurred. It turned out that the broken cable was a sign that the entire ship had reached its limit. At this moment, the hull could no longer support it and snapped in two.

The rear half of the ship was sucked away into the distance in the blink of an eye.

"Young Miss!" Alfred had just blocked a fatal blow, and at that very moment, his old strength had faded and his new strength had not yet emerged, so he had no time to react.

Isabella looked panicked and instinctively reached out to grab something, but she couldn't grasp anything.

Her cries for help vanished in the blink of an eye amidst the roar of the surrounding waves.

Seeing this, Zaun flashed and used his teleportation ability to switch places with Isabella.

During the entire process, the latter half of the ship was torn to pieces by the terrifying whirlpool. He didn't even have time to teleport. He could only use teleportation to move Isabella to the bow of the ship, and then appear in the spot where she had just been standing.

Isabella suddenly appeared at the bow of the ship and almost lost her balance, but Tingxue, who was next to her, reacted quickly and caught her.

She finally came to her senses and anxiously looked at the stern of the ship that had fallen into the abyss. Seeing that the ship had been torn to pieces, tears welled up in her eyes: "Brother Zu!"

Tingxue reacted even faster, tearing off a section of the railing next to her. The next second, the railing disappeared, and Zuan returned to the ship.

Tingxue pulled him back just as quickly. Feeling the coldness of her skin, he looked at Tingxue with lingering fear and said, "Thank you!"

The incident happened so suddenly that he didn't have time to react. He instinctively went to save Isabella, but forgot that there was nothing on the bow of the ship that he could teleport back to.

You should know that all the loose parts had already been thrown off the ship, leaving only the entire ship and the other people. If Tingxue hadn't quickly built a railing for him, he wouldn't have been able to return even if he had tried to teleport.

It must be said that although the two had only known each other for a short time, and it was even the first time she had seen her use the teleportation technique, she made the correct judgment in the blink of an eye, which was truly admirable.

Tingxue simply nodded slightly. At this moment, Isabella, with tears in her eyes, hugged Zuan tightly: "Brother Zuan, thank you! I was so scared when I saw you almost disappear!"

The girl's body was very soft, and Zu An glanced at Ting Xue somewhat awkwardly.

For some reason, the other person looked exactly like Yan Xuehen, and he always had the feeling of being caught in a crossfire.

Tingxue, however, acted as if she hadn't seen anything and simply turned her head to the side.

Alfred rushed over as well: "Thank you, Your Excellency!"

The thought that if it weren't for Zu'an, the young lady would probably have died, filled him with lingering fear. He was completely unaware that the young lady was currently holding a young man tightly, which was hardly in accordance with the etiquette of a noble lady.

"It's a pity we couldn't save the others." Zuan looked solemnly at the ship fragments in the vortex abyss; he himself had almost not made it back.
