Zuan felt as if his consciousness had entered a vast, misty space, surrounded by a light gray fog, making it impossible to see far.
He tried to explore the depths of his consciousness, but no matter how deep he went, the surrounding environment did not change at all, just like the chaotic state before Pangu separated heaven and earth in mythology.
After a while, his mental energy was almost exhausted, and he could no longer go deeper.
"This bead is rather strange." Mi Li's voice came from beside him at that moment.
Mi Li is, in a sense, one with his soul; whatever he can see, Mi Li can naturally see as well.
"Does Your Majesty recognize this bead? I remember the red dragon called it the Glass Pearl," Zu'an asked hurriedly.
He was self-aware, knowing he was an outsider to this world and understood very little.
But Mi Li is different. She has profound cultivation and once held a high position, so her knowledge is far beyond that of ordinary people.
Mi Li shook her head: "The Glazed Pearl? I've never heard of it. I only know that it has extremely complex spatial rules, and it must be because of various reasons... that it is either too damaged or most of its functions are sealed, which is why it is so difficult to identify."
"A seal?" Zuan was taken aback at first, then overjoyed. "Doesn't that mean this might be a divine artifact?"
Having watched so many movies and read so many novels in my past life, every magical artifact that was sealed like this was a heaven-defying existence.
Mi Li snorted: "I don't know why you're so blindly optimistic. Just because something is sealed doesn't mean it's a powerful magic weapon. Nobody knows until the seal is broken."
Zuan was dumbfounded: "Someone actually went to great lengths to seal a regular magic weapon?"
Mi Li said calmly, "The world is full of wonders."
He secretly added to himself, "If there are donkey-like guys like you, what's so strange about the others?"
"Then how do we break the seal on this thing?" Zuan asked hurriedly, eager to know what its function was.
Mi Li shook her head: "I don't know."
"Don't know?" Zu'an was frustrated, he really didn't expect this answer.
Unable to bear his disdainful gaze, Mi Li blushed and said, "I'm not omniscient or omnipotent, so what's so strange about not knowing? As far as I know, breaking these seals is often a matter of chance, and there's no fixed method."
"So you mean it depends on looks?" Zu An was taken aback.
"It depends on looks?" Mi Li had been with him for so long that she knew the meaning of some new words. "That's right, it really depends on luck. Some people are blessed and can break the seal without even realizing it; others search for their whole lives but can't break the seal."
Zuan laughed and said, "Then I have no problem. I've always had good luck."
Mi Li: "..."
She gradually got used to this guy's inexplicable confidence, snorted and continued, "You're pretty lucky. Although this bead is sealed, it seems to be able to be used for spatial storage. Try pointing the bead at what you want to store, and then silently give the command with your mental power."
"Space storage?" Zuan was excited. This was exactly what he needed most right now. It was inconvenient to carry all sorts of things around, especially things like the Tai'a sword.
If we had a storage magic item, everything would be much simpler.
He first tried aiming at a large rock next to him and found that as long as he had a thought, the large rock was indeed absorbed into it.
Then another thought struck, and the boulder was released once more.
This was the first time Zuan had used such a magical artifact, similar to a spatial ring from a novel, and he couldn't help but be curious, sometimes retracting it and sometimes releasing it.
"Country bumpkin." Mi Li curled her lips, but a smile unconsciously appeared between her brows.
Zuan suddenly had a brilliant idea: "If I had this, wouldn't I be invincible? Next time I see an enemy, I can just recruit him without even having to fight him."
Just like the Purple Gold Gourd in "Journey to the West", it can completely capture people.
Mi Li shattered his fantasy: "You wish! Spatial artifacts can generally only be used to store inanimate objects, not living things. This is due to the rules, and it cannot be changed by human power. Even if an item has someone else's spiritual imprint on it, you will not be able to store it."
"Otherwise, if you just take away their weapons, clothes, and stuff during a battle, what's the point of fighting?"
Upon hearing her explanation, Zu'an's eyes lit up. If he could simply remove his opponent's clothes during a fight, wouldn't he be invincible against women...?
Mi Li gave him a strange look, unsure of what he was thinking, with that lewd smile on his face.
“The problem now is that we don’t know how big this storage space is. Although it looked quite vast just now, it’s full of fog, so we can’t see the surrounding environment at all,” Mi Li muttered to herself. “Here’s what you do: try to see if you can put that dragon’s corpse inside.”
"This is too big, right?" Zuan was somewhat surprised, after all, this red dragon was several tens of feet long, and when coiled together, it looked like a small mountain.
Despite being unsure, Zaun still tried it on the red dragon's corpse.
Unexpectedly, the enormous body in front of them vanished instantly.
Zuan rubbed his eyes, looking incredulous.
Hesitantly, he released it again, and sure enough, the mountain-sized dragon reappeared before him.
"This...this..." Zuan didn't know how to express his feelings for a moment.
Mi Li couldn't help but exclaim, "You're really lucky, kid. Ordinary spatial rings have limited storage space, but yours can even fit a giant dragon, and I can sense that it can hold even more."
