Chapter 488 Mosquito Taoist

Normally, with Bing Sanren's cultivation level, even if he were to fight head-on, he wouldn't be instantly killed, even if he couldn't win. If he were to activate his ice shield, the Daoist nun would have to go through a lot of trouble to break it.

Unfortunately, he was mostly focused on eavesdropping on the conversation between the two people in the room below, and he was too confident in himself, believing that nothing around him could escape his notice.

Little did he know that an enemy with unfathomable cultivation had appeared, silently approaching him and then attacking him without giving him any chance to resist.

You know, in the animal kingdom, two equally matched beasts can often be instantly killed if one is caught off guard and the other takes the opportunity to ambush. How much more so when his cultivation level is inferior to that Taoist nun's.

Qiu Honglei, who was in the room below, looked up in confusion: "Ice Hermit, what is it?"

Although Bing Sanren did not put up any effective resistance throughout the process, there were bound to be some noises on the roof. Qiu Honglei was also a master, and she did not miss these noises.

Of course, she didn't think much of it; it was just a casual question. After all, no one would have imagined that one of the eight great wandering masters of the Demonic Sect would be killed so easily.

Unfortunately, there was no response. Qiu Honglei walked to the window in confusion and called out again, "Ice Hermit?"

Just then, the window shattered, and a figure in apricot yellow rushed in, a pair of fair hands slapping towards her chest.

In the heat of the moment, Qiu Honglei didn't have time to think. She hurriedly raised her palms to meet the enemy. As soon as her hands met, she felt as if she had been struck by lightning. She coughed up a mouthful of blood, and her breath became much weaker.

The newcomer was none other than the Daoist nun. She exclaimed in surprise, "The Holy Maiden of the Demonic Sect is indeed quite capable."

Although her tone was full of praise, her hands did not stop at all, and she continued to attack the opponent's vital points.

It was already a miracle that her opponent was able to withstand one of her attacks, caught off guard; this time, she was doomed.

Seeing that fair yet murderous hand, Qiu Honglei felt a pang of despair. The attack had thrown her internal energy into disarray. With her cultivation level, she should have been able to recover her fighting strength in about three breaths, but her opponent was not going to give her that chance.

Just then, a figure suddenly appeared in front of her, and a warm arm embraced her: "Go quickly!"

In the critical moment, it was Zaun who used his wind magic to save her life when she was on the verge of death.

The Taoist nun's palm strike missed its target and landed directly on the pillar behind Qiu Honglei.

There was no earth-shattering sound at all; on the contrary, there was not a sound at all, which was completely inconsistent with the fierce palm strike, giving people an extremely contradictory and distorted feeling.

However, as soon as she withdrew her hand, the pillar, which was originally as thick as a person's embrace, collapsed instantly. It wasn't just that section; the entire pillar turned into dust and scattered all over the ground.

Zuan and Qiu Honglei turned pale. If they had been hit by that palm strike, they would probably have turned into a pool of pus and blood by now.

Only then did the two have a chance to examine their opponent. They saw a Taoist nun dressed in an apricot-yellow robe, holding a whisk. Her appearance was actually quite ordinary, but her whole being exuded a bewitching aura.

Upon seeing the other person's attire, Zu An was taken aback: "Li Mochou?"

This image is so similar to Li Mochou's attire in "The Return of the Condor Heroes", but her appearance is still much worse than Li Mochou's.

"Huh?" The Taoist nun didn't continue her attack. Instead, she looked at Zu An curiously. "What was that move you just made? Why was it so fast?"

Zu An snorted: "Why should I tell you? Why don't you tell me what that palm strike of yours was all about?"

The Taoist nun sneered, "You brat, you're asking for death!"

As soon as she finished speaking, she attacked the two of them with a palm strike. The speed was so fast that the palm strike had already reached them almost as soon as she made her move.

Zuan was terrified and hurriedly used "Sunflower Illusion" to create three figures that ran in different directions.

The Taoist nun struck a fleeting afterimage, her astonishment deepening: "That movement technique..."

Zu An dared not be careless and hurriedly hugged Qiu Honglei, trying to rush out the door.

The Taoist nun wasn't about to let him succeed. With a flick of her whisk, the silk threads that were originally a few feet long instantly grew to several feet in length, blocking the doorway.

Zuan was startled and quickly changed direction.

Unfortunately, the white silk threads seemed to have a life of their own, each one like a long snake, constantly wrapping around the two of them.

Zuan caught a glimpse of the silk threads as they gently slid past a nearby bench. The hard bench snapped in two as if it had been slicing with a laser, leaving a perfectly smooth cut. How could he dare let the silk threads get tangled in it?

He unleashed the "Sunflower Illusion" technique to its fullest extent, constantly dodging the flying threads around him. However, these white threads seemed endless, continuously extending and growing until they filled the entire room, forming spider webs that made it increasingly difficult for him to maneuver and dodge.

The nun's face revealed a cruel smile, like a cat catching a mouse: "You brat, you really surprise me. Your cultivation level is extremely low, but the wonder of your movement technique is unmatched by many grandmasters. I'm becoming more and more interested in you."

"Since you're so interested, why go to such lengths?" Beads of sweat soaked Zu'an's temples as he looked at the dense, secret threads around him. He could foresee that he would be caught in less than half a minute.

The Taoist nun said with a smile, "It's precisely because I'm interested that I want to capture you and play with you slowly. I like young and strong men like you."

Zuan felt a chill and couldn't help but curse, "Too bad I'm not interested in an old woman like you."
