“We’ve already discussed this topic before, and my answer remains no,” the Snow Woman said, tilting her head slightly as she stared at him. “Are all you humans so indecisive?”
Zuan: "..."
He really didn't know what to say. Thinking back to the two battles just now, although the Snow Woman was seriously injured, she wasn't completely powerless. She even helped him kill Iron Fist Locke.
So he stopped trying to persuade him and instead took out the Heavenly Cloud Sword and the Nine-Foot Mirror. He didn't know which of these two items was used to reinforce the seal on the snow mountain.
Fortunately, not long after it was taken out, the snow mountain seemed to sense it, and the nine-foot mirror in his hand lit up.
Then, drawn by an invisible hand, they flew directly to the top of the snow-capped mountain.
The Nine-Foot Mirror emitted a gentle light that enveloped the entire snow mountain. Due to Iron Fist Locke's continuous bombardment, the mountain was covered with huge cracks and collapses. However, under the light, those cracks were visibly mended.
Beams of light appeared on both sides of the cracks, and then an invisible force restored the cracks. Just as the last crack was about to close, the Nine-Foot Mirror flew towards the crack automatically and entered the mountain's belly, just like the Soul-Hooking Jade before it.
Mysterious runes lit up the entire snow mountain, similar to the previous snow mountain, giving it a sacred feel.
Zuan keenly sensed that an invisible wave was spreading out.
The Snow Woman spoke up: "I've been feeling a bit unsettled lately, but I seem to be much calmer now."
Zuan glanced at her, wondering if this woman was the incarnation of the Great Snow Mountain.
After taking care of the two snow mountains, Zuan didn't dare to delay and set off with the Snow Maiden towards the third snow mountain.
"Do you remember when you came to this snow mountain?" Zuan asked tentatively on the way.
The Snow Woman shook her head slightly: "I only remember a very long time ago, but I don't remember exactly when. In fact, for long-lived beings like us, time sometimes doesn't have much meaning."
Zuan: "..."
Is this woman in Versailles? You know, so many powerful humans have given everything for eternal life but gained nothing, while these immortal beings seem to have no feeling about it.
"So, did you arrive first and then the Great Snow Mountain came into being, or did the Great Snow Mountain come into being first and then you, or did you both appear at the same time?" Zuan tried to figure out the origin of the Snow Woman.
The Snow Woman seemed oblivious, instinctively replying, "The Great Snow Mountain should have arrived first, and I came later..."
"Should?" Zu An was taken aback.
"Didn't I tell you before? I can't remember many of my past memories." The Snow Woman covered her forehead as she spoke, seemingly in pain.
"Then don't think about it anymore," Zu An said hurriedly, feeling a pang of heartache seeing the other person's distress.
He immediately chuckled to himself, realizing that he was truly chivalrous towards women who were good-looking.
While they were chatting, the two quickly arrived near the third snow-capped mountain, and they couldn't help but squint their eyes.
Because it was so dazzling, my first reaction was that there were two suns in the sky, but then I realized that the luminous figure was standing on the top of the snow mountain.
Its light was even more dazzling than the real sun, after all, the location of the snow mountain is special and the intensity of sunlight is not enough.
"Since you were able to get here, it seems you've already killed those other idiots." A voice came from the ball of light.
Zuan led the Snow Maiden behind a hillside: "You don't seem surprised at all?"
Previously, the Thorn Bone Dragon mentioned that anything it saw would...
Although he didn't know what would happen, it was clearly not a good thing, so he took precautions in advance to avoid falling into a trap without knowing what was going on.
"Why should I be surprised? Those guys may have some skills, but none of them are smart enough. Although everyone says that the little bone dragon's brain is only the size of a walnut, I don't think the other two are much bigger." The voice of the light and shadow was indifferent, as if the dead were not its companions.
"It seems you've learned some information about me from them," the being of light and shadow said with interest, noticing that Zaun was hiding behind the hillside and avoiding him.
“You don’t even care about their lives, so how could they be loyal to you? Naturally, they’ve told you all your secrets.” Zuan said this deliberately, trying to trick it.
“I don’t think so,” the being of light and shadow chuckled. “Leaving aside the restrictions I left inside them, even if you really had a way to get information from them, you should have pretended not to know, instead of saying this on purpose… Hmm, let me think about it. You probably know some information, but not all of it, so you’re deliberately testing me to try and get some information out of me.”
Zuan sighed: "It seems you are indeed a bit smarter than those guys before."
“Those guys may be stupid, but they are still quite strong. Even that snow woman shouldn’t be able to kill them. This weak world has the ability to do so…” The figure of light and shadow paused, “You must be the human who killed the War Priest, the Fetal Mother Demon, and the Death Controller.”
Zuan was somewhat surprised: "Now I really admire you. You managed to glean so much information from just a few words."
“You are indeed a talent, and I admire such talent.” The figure of light and shadow thought for a moment and said, “How about this, I will give you another chance. Join me, and I can spare your life while also saving the lives of your family and friends. You can also conquer a wider world with us. I happen to lack a smart guy like you by my side.”
